Just want to add another wax/sealant topper to the mix, Osren Surface Conditioner. A litre of product makes four litres as it is a concentrate. A ready to use spray bottle version should be available too.
Regarding the spray bottles from Osren, I have been advised not to use acid based cleaners in it because it will kill the spray pump
Does OSREN still carry this? Unable to find this product anymore in their web.

I think it depends on how severe it is. The one that I tried is using a small bottle solution sold in Giant called Tomcat. I bought it back in 2008 for RM 8 and I'm still using it. I just cleaned my huge panaromic sunroof (aargh) by hand with it when using Autoglym's Glass Polish did not help. No idea what the Tomcat contains but people say it's strong acid. From the smell, I think it's strong ammonia or something.
There's also another product off the shelf called Forma Hero Rain Stain Remover. Not tired it yet. From my memory, the Meguair's NXT was better than M21. Easier to apply and shines better. Anyway, it was a while back. You like paste better? Liquid is usually easier to apply. If using DA machine to polish, liquid is easier to apply. With paste, you need to spread it with something like a butter knife to the foam pad of the DA.
Anyway, I've only used M21 once. Not a good experience if I'm not wrong. Hard to buff off if I recall. And to my untrained eyes, other products gave better shine. Perhaps for durability, it's quite good? I'll try it again and find some time to use it.
Anyway throughout the years, kept buying other stuff and found it better like Meguiars' M16 paste wax. I started collecting other paste wax like 3M Perfect It and Meguiars Ultimate Paste Wax. I like the Meguiars Ultimate Paste Wax. Easy to apply and buff off like liquid and looked very good on black cars. But cannot remember off hand how durable it was. I also bought liquid type wax like M26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax and Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba Wax which I quite like but does not last long.
The lately hand itchy and got Autoglym's HD Wax when I was in Singapore. Tried it and thought the paste wax was difficult to apply and more picky on surface. Surface must be clean and you need to apply really thin. For a large bonnet and if you don't apply evenly on a dark coloured car, it can get patchy and buffing it to make it same is damn difficult. But in my limited use, durability so far is excellent. Water beads very nicely too after a few weeks.
Mind sharing what is your DA, where you purchase it, and how much?
with some FOC gift as well.. 1)MF cloth 2)Plastic Care pad 3) some sample of Windscreen wash 1:100
total is less than RM200..
If i buy with Maguairs i guess the price is more than that...
i really like the boss there.. he willing spent time with u sharing abt detailing... gd service!
I was there too today. Did we met each other by coincidence? When I was there I saw two chinese guys in formal office wear, buy a lot of products. Is one of them is you?
Btw just to inform all there is still plenty of Brilliant Shine Detailer so if you going after this product then no worry stock plenty.

I went there is around 10-12noon like that... Are u the 1 wearing orange shirt? He did grab like 1 whole big box..while me n my another colleague (indian) grab abt 2 plastic bag each..
eh, sorry la. i didn't know Quik Wax is a spray topper =(
This is disputable. Meguiar's for instance, officially do not agree to state that Quik Wax = Quik Detailer. However you can have your own interpretation from your personal observation and experience. You might even consider this Quik Wax, Quik Detailer just a business marketing hype, they essentially same product in a different bottle (no body knows right unless you worked in the company as chemist before).
While Ultimate Quik Detailer contains hydrophobic content thus making it feels like functioning like a spray wax (water beading), it does not replace the function of spray wax according to Meguiar's claim.
Meguiar's has other, non-water beading Quik Detailer also, selling cheaper. If you use this, you will never get water beading without a wax layer on your car beforehand.
If your first experience with quik detailer (any brand) is those that contains hydrophobic feature, then no doubt you will feel that quik detailer = quik wax. If your first experience with quik detailer (any brand) is those that without hydrophobic feature, then, you will not equal both of them.
But again, you do not have to follow manufacturer theory. Because they are after all, business. See what you like, and stick with it, until you discover something else more appealing to you.

Questions to all, regarding the 7/2/2014 9:30pm Detailing TT,
- What actually will happen in this session? - Attendee need to bring what? - Usually you guys hang out until what time? - Are you all going to detail a car right in front of the restaurant like a open road show event?

You should wipe out all the products and re-sell again and earn a little bit of margin Sonax actually quite hard to find for 1st timer. They do not have a big sign board outside, even the name outside the building is not their company name. I end up calling to the office and ask only realize i was park next to it.
Thanks for the inform, next time do a car wash there at G-guard.

- What actually will happen in this session? - Attendee need to bring what? - Usually you guys hang out until what time? - Are you all going to detail a car right in front of the restaurant like a open road show event?
- What actually will happen in this session? KrisMas will present you with a 1000 page catalogue that covers products from A to Z, from the ground to heaven. If you read every page, you'll need one week.
- Attendee need to bring what? Bank accounts as many as possible.
- Usually you guys hang out until what time? about 6 hours from the start time
- Are you all going to detail a car right in front of the restaurant like a open road show event? Possible if you are still resistant to Krismas poison.

The BD is less powerful than the Bosch. I use the BD for light duties like waxing. If I recall, the Bosch made a split in the back of the foam pad where the edge of the velcro ends after a long usage.
My Bosch is inactive for quite a while since I got a RB. First I made do with the China made Skill 9070 and until just recently I got the Makita 9227C.

No lah. Just like TT for any car clubs, the people in attendance will talk about anything to do with detailing plus a little bit more. Talk about latest detailing gears and products, where to get what, tips and anything you want to talk about. But basically it's a more social type gathering just to get to know and share knowledge.
I believe this TT practice originated back from Autoworld forum actually when detailing sifus would congregate mostly on Friday evenings at the Banana Leaf Restaurant in Center Point, Bandar Utama.

Good machine you have.
Not me lah. Instead of using glue, I use a double sided automative velcro tape and line them like it's shown on the link. Easier and faster.
