Based on my experience using the 2 bucket wash, changing the rinse water is important.
I use a big bucket for the rinse water and a small bucket for the car shampoo. I change the rinse water at least once sometimes twice. This means I use 2 to 3 large buckets of rinse water every time I wash my car. |

QUOTE(g88 @ Dec 21 2013, 09:42 PM) Usually on the doors especially after rain got dirty water drops "attached" to my doors I only wash my car once a week so the dirty water drops have dried. If there is frequent light rain and the dirt accumulates it gives a sand paper feeling |

QUOTE(kww @ Dec 25 2013, 03:50 PM) Never come across my mind to buy 1 DA, as I don't have budget and I'm not that particular to have a perfect car; stone chips and small dents are all over the car. But I like it clean and good water sheeting & beading effect. I never stop cleaning it every week over the pass 5 years. Most likely you'll need 5.5" pads.Yesterday a friend of mine offer his Meg G220 DA that is hardly use for rm600 (without any pad). I'm tempted, need to ask a few question; 1. is this a good price? It is not local purchase. 2. I was told it is rather fool proof but not that powerful as compare to Roft, true? 3. How many kind of pads should I buy for swirls and water marks removal? As it is the only thing i think i will use it for. How much are the pads (mid quality)? Thanks and merry Christmas. Water marks are easy to remove. A white pad will get the job done. Swirl marks normally can be handled by an orange pad. A black pad is soft and is used to apply the wax / sealant. Each pad should cost you around 45-50 in Malaysia. http://www.autogeek.net/lake-country-beveled-edge-pads.html |

QUOTE(carl90 @ Dec 25 2013, 05:38 PM) For your case I suggest you bring to a shop to repair. You can actually get touch up paint and apply it very gently using a very very small brush (some people use toothpick After applying touch up paint (may need a few applications) you'll need to wet sand the area and then use compound on it. This is quite challenging if you are new to detailing. |

Easy to wipe off. The DGPS, I applied it to half of the car, waited 40 mins before wiping off. Also easy to wipe off. It didn't dry or became powdery or harden. As the DGPS needs 12 hours to fully cure, I could only do the next half of the car the next day. |

Wolfgang Concours-Series were developed in collaboration with Menzerna.
Its quality is as good as Menzerna. Basically I was won over by the review http://www.autogeek.net/wolfgang-paint-sealant-review.html ![]() from a price point of view .... Wolfgang DGPS (16oz) is US$40 Duragloss TPP 105 (16oz) is US$11 .. almost 4 times the price Duragloss TPP 105 (16oz) is selling for RM80 in Malaysia. I got the Wolfgang DGPS (16oz) for RM180 anyway this is this first time I'm trying premium products instead of OTC products. |
