The least luxury car I saw there was a Proton Persona.

Full detailing would cost 600++, while 3 layer polish and wax is 300++.
Deliberately tried wash and vacuum there since I heard many rave reviews about Carnauba Autospa. They might be cleaning car with good shampoo and suitable wiping clothes (i.e microfiber) but for wash and vacuum (RM25) I think they are not so detailed. Outside RM10 wash and vacuum would clean better than them. My car still have dust inside, and my diffuser aren't even being wash by them hmm.gif

Other place for RM10 my interior would be dust free and they would wash my diffuser...perhaps need to use their full detailing service for satisfied cleaning I guess.. sweat.gif

Wow that is a surprise. May I know when was the price quoted? And what what size of car the price is referring to?

If the price still remains the same then I think not bad an offer, for a place that gives so much luxury feel to the walk in customer. The photo of the waiting lounge seem very comfortable and impressive too.

By diffuser you mean your aircon vent?

I never been to Thailand before. I think I will not purposely go there for a polisher purchase too. Thailand famous for something elsebrows.gif

The tire dressing is done one week ago with 101 polish AIO.. Thinking of ways to use up the cheapo 101 fast. So it goes to my tires and rims and the below the skirt cleaning..

1) wash and degreaser
2) while it is wet, I slap on the 101 with a wet applicator and wait a few sec and then rinse off with water.( Lightly wipe of the residue with the applicator).
Walla… water beading on tires and rims... tongue.gif .( Brake dust also not much after one week)

My singalingam way only…cabuzzzz…..! brows.gif

yeah, their facility is good, they offer u drinks on your request. the price is quoted two days past. i'm using preve.
by diffuser i mean the little thing below my bumpers and skirting, i'm using bodykit by the way. they don't even wash the space on the tyres.

but i will come back to try their detailing later. maybe results would be better. just not satisfied for rm25 car wash hmm.gif

Hi guys, I'm experiencing the 3M claybar is falling apart during the claying process. I was using a multipurpose cleaner to act as the lubricant.

Before that, I cut out 1/3 of the clay bar and store it in the water. After getting it out from the water, I was noticing that some portion of the clay is lighter color compared to other portions. It is this lighter color parts that is turning sticky and sticking to my hand and failing apart.

Actually, how should I handle the clay?

Thanks.

Er.. Just to be sure, it's not one of those "cheap" 3M clay bars surfacing around recently, right? Coz, those ain't actually 3M. If you know what I mean.

And, multipurpose cleaner is a little too much for lubricant, car wash mixed in regular wash concentration is good enough.

That is strange. My cheap PERMA GLASS clay which you can buy from AEON nowadays with less than RM30 does not suffer from this problem.
Do reveal this issue to the seller. It could be a defective product. Or maybe the seller getting a counterfeit product but even he/she does not realize that.
With 3M I expect tip top quality. Never heard of such issue with 3M clay.

If you accidentally spray some WD40 or some degreaser on clay then yes it can dissolve the clay. But I think you did not do this.

I take it there were no water marks before this?

Then the water marks that occur after the recent short rain is not a serious one in my opinion. If normal washing cannot, then try claying.

Hi Bro, got my bosch 125 yesterday going to start detailing next weekend. having a few questions here, appreciate if you could enlighten me.

1. Can this ccs pad http://goo.gl/ezbNU7 fit on my ROB?

2. what is the color i should purchase?

3. Can i use orange pad to do polishing using meguiar ultimate polish or it can only us for compound?

4. Can i use white pad to do wax using meguiar ultimate liquid wax?

kinda blur here, so many pad available. just hit a car in front of me last friday and fortunately its just some minor scratch like this photo http://goo.gl/Grj0wN and i would say even lighter. that is why i bought ROB and hopefully able to remove it.

1. Yes, it'll fit fit the Bosch.
2. If you plan to do one whole car, i would suggest 2 x orange & white, 1 x black. If on budget, one of each colour would do.
3. I haven't tried UP with a cutting pad before. But knowing the type of polish it is, you should be ok with that combo. Just not sure how the outcome would be.
4. You can. But if you car's paint is very soft, you might get a some slight hazing. Better use black la....to be safe.

Errmmm....just to note: you might need Ultimate Compound for that....or maybe a few passes if using UP. So don't give up if you can't remove it in a couple of passes. If you see any improvement, just keep going.....
