well obviously it's nothing close to perfection lol. do i need deeper cutting polish? Am using a red cutting pad from forgot-what-brand lol.

menzerna is my 2nd polish other than meg's, so i wil just compare based on the two =P plz excuse me for my noob observation if any biggrin.gif
- menz seriously low dust
- menz do not produce holograms, as i experienced from meg's ultimate compound
- glosiness wise... mmm maybe the same? i don't notice the different from my eyes xD maybe i should do a side by side comparison nx time hehe

for bro scoutfai, the shine-mate ERO 600 polisher has soft start, cruise control wise, i noticed a some reduce in power when i pressure it too much, for medium to light pressure, it's quite consistent.

Was really worried after the sudden heavy (and dirty) rain early last week. Dirt film everywhere and there were signs that looks like water etchings. Didn't get the chance to wash the car until the weekend. Fortunately, all is well. Looks like the 22ple VX1 is holding up well to our harsh weather.

1. Yes, it'll fit fit the Bosch.
2. If you plan to do one whole car, i would suggest 2 x orange & white, 1 x black. If on budget, one of each colour would do.
3. I haven't tried UP with a cutting pad before. But knowing the type of polish it is, you should be ok with that combo. Just not sure how the outcome would be.
4. You can. But if you car's paint is very soft, you might get a some slight hazing. Better use black la....to be safe.

Errmmm....just to note: you might need Ultimate Compound for that....or maybe a few passes if using UP. So don't give up if you can't remove it in a couple of passes. If you see any improvement, just keep going.....

Sorry, I haven't. But I've heard lots of good reviews about them from local enthusiasts.

Hm.. Never tried the MF on a small stroke machine before, but it has good results on those 8mm orbit dual actions, even better with larger than 8mm throw orbits. biggrin.gif

Does anyone knows what are the differences being air purifier, ionizer, ozone generator, and dehumidifier?
What each one can do and cannot do?

I think ozone generator purpose is to kill bacteria. Good for car that is already grows germ I guess.

Just to share.

Second week after the Sonax BSD application =D

The BSD stayed on for at least a month where you'll noticed at the end of the fourth week, the water sheeting is quite visible already.

Nonetheless, washing car has been a breeze especially when it comes to wiping it dry.

After a brief drive along Kesas at about 100kph, for about 20 minutes (KL to Subang). All the water beading just slips away ^^

Hi there, I was checking out this forum quietly all the time and I think I should join in the discussion.

This red lady has been compound with Meguairs D300 and Polish with Detailer's Pro Coating Prep Polish and then Coat with Detailer's Pro Paint Coating.

Outcome is nice Wet and Glassy Reflection, off-course the sun shine does helps me to take nice photo! ;-)

* Photo are strictly no edit on Contrast, Level or anything that change the photo color.

hi guys, any recommendation for coating product for the windshield and side mirror?

will it do any harm to the windshield if it's just got tinted (>1 weeks)?

Can't recommend on the windshield, but if you meant side mirror as the one where you look to see the back of the car, I would recommend Soft99 Glaco Mirror Coat Zero, apply and never touch it(as it will smear). Works well as far as I've used it for a couple of months now.

As for your other question, tinting is done on the cabin side of the car, coatings for windshields are on exterior of the car, I don't see how they would interfere with each other.
