my goodness, the Google play services is keeping the CPU awake for 7 hours
this is Note II on Kitkat, no wonder battery can't last even 8 hours

i use system tuner pro to turn off certain option like google wallet and google plus so that it does not run in the background and play store does not run in the background unless i tap the app, you can find the system tuner pro app in play store, download the app with a green android logo one

so the battery can last much much longer

there is a thread in XDA say about what you can turn off in system tuner pro, but forget where is it edy..will post again if i found the thread

How old is that set?

Now my Note2 starting to restart by itself. did factory reset d and still have the problem. warranty over d. Is this HW or SW? wat else can i do? short of getting a new phone???

Can anyone screenshot their homescreen with the Accu weather widget on KitKat? Because I am confused why Note 2 is still using old launcher and old Accu weather widget on 4.3.

Don't know... One of my aunty bought secondhand Note 2 at RM 1000 from her hubby's co-worker early last year. Current RRP price at that time was RM 1999. Still in good condition and no scratches or any damages.

Yea, I think it's worth it. It won't lag while moving, copying files within internal memory. Even my previous Galaxy Grand will hang / freezes while moving file in and out within internal memory.

Hi,
I just updated my Note II to KitKat...When I went into recovery mode looking to wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache, I found out there is no Advance in the menu...So, I only able to wipe cache...May I know is Samsung take away the Advance in the menu? Or it is my phone problem? Now how can I wipe dalvik cache without root?

Huh? I don't think you can do that without custom recovery.

Crazy lol, just now I go Lowyat plaza and ask for Note 2's Nillkin hard case and it's like nowhere to be bought... Sigh.

You sure? Stock recovery only can perform double wipe, apply update from SD Card or ADB sideload only. And why do you wanna wipe Dalvik Cache anyway?
