had a chat with recruiter from one of petronas opu. senior manager salary is between 25k to 35k, is this true? vacancy is manager level same post as i am right now n im getting 20k currently. if there were to offer me, they new salary will be close to senior manager which is quite difficult to them. im keen to explore but no luck i guess

Possible, oil and gas sector pay are better.

Actually, in Petronas their bands are quite wide. Depending on which operating unit, in Upstream (in the past), I have seen manager level pay go up all the way to RM50k. Honestly, if you don't know and don't try, you might miss a great opportunity.

After passed CBI, is there any HR contact you regarding the next hiring process or you have to wait until 15/8/22 to fill up the application form online?

After passed CBI, I had regularly email them and ask them about my status.
They only replied me on my 3rd email of asking them, and that was already near 15/8/22.

So i guess, unless you are near the date to fill up online application form, if not you wont be getting excitement info.

Depends the urgency I guess, if the hiring manager has certain reason he needs you badly, usually more of Internal Policies like fulfilling certain headcount or ensure some "balance" in the department demographic (race, gender, age, etc) probably will move up your onboard process very swiftly. Either that or you have a certain "person of interest" value the higher management wants sure swiftly onboard you. Otherwise just like JPA enrolling civil servants will take their sweet time.

27/7/2022: HR ask for my document with CTC
1/8/2022: CBI interview with manager, head and HR
14/8/2022: my 1st email to HR ask for status. no reply from them.
27/9/2022: my 2nd email ask HR about my status. still no reply.

any advice what should i do??

nope. after my CBI IV on 1st august 2022 they still not give me an answer that i'll passed the interview or not. But, on 3rd august one of HR team did whatsap me and ask about my notice period. just ask about that. after that no news anymore until now

Not to worry too much. Few possible outcomes.

1. You received an email indicating that you passed. Then congratz, and it will again take some time for you to get the offer letter.

2. They are waiting Hiring Manager to get a green light to proceed hire for the position. So, just patiently wait. As long as you did not received the CBI rejection , i think it is a good news. A CBI rejection will normally come very fast if you fail CBI. So i think you are still good.

3. you received failure CBI email. bye bye.

I think u r right. Thank you for your words. I just received their email yesterday. They told me i'll passed the CBI. So, now i just need to patiently wait for next step. 😂
