Last time i pass CBI took half year to get offer. They actually wait and depend how desperate the hiring manager need people. They normally wont really tell u one, tat time i every month send email also no reply, suddenly tell me offer i also surprised. I reject in the end tho

Just to share some info on Petronas Digital (PDSB). Their Term and condition is different with holding. Definitely different salary package (much more lower as compared to holding T&C).. sometimes other OPU look on PDSB people as their contractor (I think they have mentality like when PDSB was iPerintis). More experience people in PDSB is leaving as they are underpaid. Can get twice salary outside.

They will only pay extra epf after your hiring is confirmed. % of addition depening on years of service. It seems that Petronas can rival the big banks when it comes to epf payment.

Hello, anyone mind to share what is the average pay for E2 ( G3 and G4)?

I have already attended a chit-chat session with Group Security and was notified they are interested to proceed in hiring me, but today I received an email from HR requesting my documents for a position in Maritime Operations. Is this the process after my chit chat or is just HR putting me into consideration for another position in another department?

Is it appropriate to direct call HR asking the status of application?

Hi guys, if anyone received an email from Petronas HR stating that they require the person's CV, copies of IC, payslips & certificates etc with CTC for profile screening purposes for placement into Petronas, and the HR CC'ed the person in the next email with HR hiring team, what does it means?

No official offer from them at this stage. But it stated there to make sure the candidate register a career profile in petronas website for the HR team to proceed with the hiring process.

Candidate got into chit chat session with the hiring manager back in early June 2022.
Got into chit chat session with the VP in mid June.
Done his 3 hrs CBI interview in 3rd week on June 2022.
And last week the candidate got the above said email.

Your candidate was headhunted?
Not sure about petronas specifically but if headhunted by company HR or external recruiters, at that stage of requesting documents after the interviews usually means they are likely putting together a proposal offer for approval. Assuming the candidate passed the background checks and other checks if necessary.

If they aren't interested, they wouldn't likely ask for documents to proceed.

28/4/22: Submitted CV at 1 pm and hiring manager reached out at 5 pm to schedule chit chat
12/5/22 : Chit Chat session
21/5/22 : Submitted docs
30/6/22: HR called to schedule TA/CBI
07/7/22 : TA/CBI
14/7/22 : Passed TA/CBI
15/8/22 : HR asked to fill up the application form online
19/8/22 : Received offer letter at the end of Friday night

We have similar path except that I started first step earlier

28/3/22: Submitted CV
31/3/22 : Chit Chat session
18/6/22 : Submitted docs
25/6/22: HR called to schedule CBI
1/7/22 : CBI
5/7/22 : Passed CBI
15/8/22 : HR asked to fill up the application form online
19/8/22 : Received offer letter

Total spend 4 months. that's really long process

I think 4 months is not really that long if you compare with some other people in this forum.
Another reason could be because I submitted my CV on Thursday, right before Hari Raya. Then, with all the raya celebrations, it got delayed even more.
All in all, worth the wait
