Last and not least, the company is dynamic...meaning that they revise the way of the salary structure works every few years...so yeah. |

Any fresh graduates have experience applying to PET Digital before? I finished my GEES contract early March this year (not with PET Digital) but unfortunately unable to get an offer for permanent employment.
But I've seen a lot of posts on LinkedIn of fresh graduates getting hired by PET Digital recently, so I'm wondering if there are any of them lurking here.. How is the hiring process for freshies? Do you have to do a technical assessment? I applied for the Data Engineer position from the Petronas Career Portal btw |

Dragged out process with hiatus in between - not sure what happened on their end. Eventually came up with only 10% offer. Worth to highlight I was working in Penang and need to relocate if accepted the job. Easiest decision I'd ever made 😂The overall process took 6 months (too long) from chit chat to an offer, with the offer giving me a 10% paycut from my current salary and non negotiable offer. They must think people are really desperate to join them. 🙃 Fast forward 2022 I'd accepted job in KL with much better benefits and whooping 87% increment (read: from 2021 salary not 2020 while applying to Pet digital). Hi, I just finish my GEES program end of March 2022, the I got a call from HR for interview on 27th April 2022. The interview was ok because my supervisor during GEES that interviewed me. So after two weeks raya, I whatapps my supervisor regarding my position,he said he will follow up, now dah nak end of June 2022, no reply from Petronas. The position they offer me process executive. My question is, memang lama ke nak dapat reply from Petronas because I check my gees member in LinkedIn all got employ early for HR and IT position 😅

I received job offer from Petronas recently after completed my Chit chat and CBI. They offered me 10% increment from my current salary and contract position for 2 years.
Still contemplating whether to accept it or not since I'll lose my permanent status over 10% increment. Does anyone know if contract staff still entitled for bonusses and the trend in Pet whether they usually renew their contract staff, convert to permanent or terminate at the end of term? |
