Hi. Did u get the info from HR?

I did call the HR that communicate with me earlier April, she said approval from BoD has not been obtained yet. Expect delay until a month or so after MCO. It doesnt only affect me, but it also affected people that went for interview beginning of feb onwards

Ur position is contact or permanent?

Mine is permanent. There’s no slight hint about recruitment freeze from the HR.

HI! So did u get the offer from them? How long was the wait? Did u get the position that u interviewed for?

Hi. I went for chit chat session about 3 weeks ago, then I received call from Petronas informing that there will be final interview. But I've been informed the position offered is under direct contract hire.

Does anyone know abt direct hire benefits, is it same as permanent staff? And if their contract positions mostly converted to permanent at the end of 2 years contract period?

CDH and permanent staff benefits are mostly the same, as I know only dental/optic is not covered under CDH. For conversion to permanent, it depends, you can get an offer even before your 2 years contract end.

A little outta topic, but where's the most common place for outstation people to rent if hired to work at Pet Tower or Exxon Tower? Usually a vehicle ownership isn't necessary if one stays at LRT-connected area right?

A LOT of staff stays around the Wangsa Maju, Setiawangsa area. If you can find a place close to an LRT station, then that would be great as KLCC has a station that caters for the Twin Towers and the surrounding areas

What are the benefits in Petronas now?

Are they WFH or hybrid or fully onsite?

Where are the offices at for IT based?
