thats ok..., i am only use umobile for internet usage.. XD... eventhough the number cannot make calls or sms ....., but still nice to keep...., but..., maybe later only to get a new nice number.., seems i only need to pay upfront... hmm.gif .. not sure yet though...

anyway..., i am currenly using other telco as my mobile operator, so...., the main reason that i got umobile was after terminate my streamyx for internet, so.... laugh.gif

here my story of umobile postpaid termination:

APR 26: filled termination form and paid the outstanding of mar as thats the latest invoice im having and also paid the RM10 termination fee and my simcard was collected back

MAY 30: called umobile hotline and they replied my account still ACTIVE, called the store/dealer who did my termination replied i need to pay the outstanding and very likely i will be charged the month of MAY even though the simcard was collected back on APR 26

this sound like never ending? as the current month invoice always come like after mid of the month, like now i only can see invoice for APR.. so if now doing the termination umobile will reply i have MAY outstanding which they only issue me like mid JUN?

Hi, just to confirm that our Umobile Broadband Manager cannot check Off Peak usage now, and SMSing DATA2 to 28118 doesn't tell me my off peak usage as well ?

because i have used my peak data, and decided to wake up after 2 AM to work, and found my speed got capped. The CS said i have used up both peak and off peak which i know is a lie because i don't use at night before.

now only i know that even u have sufficient balance credit in acc, the umi28 will not auto renew unless u got to do fresh top up credit... shxt policy

ah, since when like that...means ven if your credit still got 50 inside, we still need to do top up rm5 jsut to let it deduct another 28 ?

are you sure? I reloaded 100 during the 8% promo and so far it has auto renewed fine so far, on my end.

i think more or less, very few chances that WE can earn the extra income thats why sure high mark up margin until lots seller to compete, i believe few of here also tried to sell umobile unlimited with RM 80 and that super deal only last 1 week after umobile found the leak and fixed that.

IF the dealer going to help u to terminate the broadband line basically they hope u to settle the payment with them, and probably (including me) would collect all forms together , most likely 1 MAY till 29 MAY (my practise) cancellation form and pass to center within 29 and 30 (since we got no authority to cancel the line by ourselves, only center available) .Unfortunately umobile always experience system down on the last day of the month and they not accept 3rd party cancellation, i bear all the payment for my customers, it was total 200++ and i only earn around <> RM 50 from them, so the outcome is like above.

with your case( let say the dealer forgot or not going to help to terminate over center) you can't complain against UMOBILE center or Customer service since they never received any cancellation request.

suggestion : with your receipt and proof of request to cancel and settle with the dealer, they might probably need to settle the outstanding.
worst scenario : u complain with the dealer, then they tell u in a different way (something like we can't help to terminate , only center can, sorry ya) and refuse to pay the next month (june bill) then either u enjoy 1 more month usage and terminate over counter to be safe, or go complain with center. Then center would give warning to the dealer but the problem wouldn't be settled as long as dealer don't want to bear it IF u got no proof that the dealer PROMISED to help u to terminate.

u mean prepaid ? normally 60 days after expired, but heard that going to be 40 days after expired since umobile not enough numbers to reproduce

is that your credit expired ? then need fresh top up already

last time even ur credit expired, u still can purchase umi28 or mb40 and enjoy 30 days usage, but now obviously u need to be active to subscribe package

looks like need to min topup rm5 per month hmm.gif

is it too harsh to top up RM 5 monthly meh =.= haha umobile the only 1 giving twice longer active validity already

last time is FRIENDI last longest , dono got change or not, whenever u make call then extend validity, soon i will research and compare all telco, finally i got all dealership for most telco brows.gif except for DiGi .... shakehead.gif

finally discovering it is Umobile system glitch again happening in my area, now able to renew without top up fresh credit after calling their cs
