QUOTE(MakNok @ May 20 2014, 05:39 AM) streamyx rm66 <------- Speed is 512kbps Umobile after quota <----Speed is 128kbps you must understand... you can't compare with landline and wireless wireless tend to have higher ping which also affect your data transmission aka slower a bit to reach for each request. 1515 era is over, back then internet content is simple Now, Internet enrich with fantastic graphic...advertisment....which needed more quota at certain reasonable speed to be able to view it comfortably. QUOTE(MakNok @ May 20 2014, 05:45 AM) Look around for better alternative.. Thanks maknok, i thought 128 means 128k in mobile internet..., maybe next time only look for alternative bah, no budget after a recent switched... i am sure there are Telco who can match your needs especially "moblity browsing experience" But then, the cost might be high. There always a a pot of gold at the end of each rainbow. Dang, i use to believe that until science prove it just reflection at certain sun beam angle....etc kakakaa But..., what i doesn't agree is..., the speed before and after capped shouldn't be that huge different, i know all telcos has something called FUP, i am not against FUP, i just hope the speed diference before and after capped doesn't have to be so like ...the sky and the ground loh.... For Umobile on gmail after 5gb capped..., i managed to downloaded Thunderbird after 2 or more hours to manage my gmail via imap though.... , can't load it in chrome... i realize Umobile has 10gb promo for mb68 now, i wonder will i get it if i topup my account before it expired the end of this month??.. Searched some posts and I saw some unanswered post regarding Blackberry plan(okay, I know its market share is slumping, and not as popular as Android/ Apple… but I still need to ask)
Any helpful U Mobile staff here willing to help since U Mobile with its competitive pricing are really inching the urban market? https://www.u.com.my/blackberry/prepaid Any prepaid umobile/ BB user here care to enlighthen any additional monthly cost except the RM19 for 1 month/ RM34 for 2 months? Do we need to top up separately to maintain the active status of our prepaid card and how much it cost to call/ SMS? https://www.u.com.my/prepaid/unlimited-mobile-internet-plan Let’s say if user currently on Unlimited Mobile Internet UMI 18 (but cannot fully utilise BB full features), so if user subscribe to BB RM34 for 2 months + 600MB plan , can user stop its UMI 18 or user need to continue UMI 18 to call/ SMS? also if the internet data plan sums up to 600MB or 850MB (600MB+250MB) |

QUOTE(parabellum @ Mar 12 2014, 08:56 PM) Hi, I need an answer from you guys.. If I’m not mistaken, the latest BB Z10 can operate with normal internet plan (unsure about BB inhouse apps which are the main reason BB users use a BBphone), unlike its “kecok” / “babae” / cocky predecessors which have many limitations when we don’t have BIS. Either technology advances or BB probably know it has less bargaining chips on table. I have a blackberry z10 which is running blackberry 10 OS. Which one that I have to subscribe to activate mobile internet, BIS or UMI? You might want to check further and let us know |

Hi, want to ask something about the prepaid top up 15% bonus.
Is the promo still available? For eg, we top up RM10, make IDD call, then top up RM100. We supposed to get RM15 bonus right? |

QUOTE(nordingh @ May 23 2014, 08:29 PM) that means nothing if umobile doesnt even cover KLCC or even Pavillion or even Low Yat Plaza.there's only 1 spot in KL with LTE coverage and that is BTS building. i havent tried how far away from BTS building will have LTE coverage. from monorail? plaza berjaya? imbi plaza? sungai wang? low yat? etc etc. They could even set it up to broadcast inward (in-building coverage) instead of outside. |
