been 2 months since i got my camera fixed via SengHeng (since i bought from them) and they communicated with HTC. Photos are still amazing in lowlight (better than my gf's XZ1)

PS: quality is much better than it seems, just that upload it to instagram/ FB and their compression mess it up a bit.

Goto settings and tick the high quality image processing in Advanced Features, Instagram, probably that will help

Now htc one gold colour offer is attractive to me.

Digi: monthly package rm148, two years contract. Device price = free
Maxis: monthly package rm96, two years contract. If shift from other telco, device price = 799-200

hmm, i think u really unlucky, cz i sent mine and come back with perfect condition, i played the phone until it became hot and tested the camera, its not purple issue.... is ur device sent to BTS?

Called htc today snd my phone status is in quality......ummm don`t remember what quality they were saying......

Are you kidding me? you have the thought of getting another one? after a record 5th time? going for the 3rd time for me will be the last straw and I am not looking forward to send it in for the second time now. Will be sending it in after the cny week.

How come? coz Hard To Compensate never resolved the issue... which I really believe its the hardware.

I've looked through the thread and in your opinion,

(1) Is it better to personally bring to the service centre or have the courier pick it up? I was thinking I should personally collect it from SC to make sure purple tint is resolved?

(2) Will they provide you with a temporary phone to use while repairs are ongoing?

(3) Do they give you a refurbished set after the warranty claim?

1. Send it in personally if you're in KL area. Not a choice for many of us outside KL.

2. Yes, if they have loaners still available. Might not be the same phone though (older models).

3. I got a new replacement after 2nd send in. Some people got their camera module replaced. Never heard of refurbs before. YMMV here.

Called HTC, said the phone is at BTS d and can collect during lunch. Hopefully it's totally repaired now. SENQ damn terrible didn't reply anything even though I initially sent in through them.
