If your phone has BL unlock or rooted, the tech will first check its status by booting into fastboot mode. If you have done all these through SOFF - you are safe after you have unroot it. If you have done through HTCDev , there is no point even to unroot, lock back BL etc as said earlier on

Hmm. I'm not sure if I was lucky or anything. Mine was unlocked using htcdev. I s-offed using revone and removed tampered flag. S-on back and locked bootloader (not relock) and flashed the official ruu. If they wanted to void my warranty by saying I unlocked bootloader using htcdev they didn't do so.

btw how to check the cinesensor since i cant find it in the ES file explorer O.o

nvm found it: st vd6869(1.0) Cinesensor 2013-10-18 and no pink spot so far

Is it safe to say all sensors after September got rid the pink spot as well? Wondering if I should send in my phone again cause the spot isn't bothering too much compared to the purple tint previously.

Tried again taking a pic. Same old pink spot.

On a separate note, is the camera lens cover supposed to be recessed slightly around the ring? If so, by about how much? <0.1cm? Cause mine is getting scratched. It's like on the same level as the ring, but the right side is just slightly above it.

For those who have sent to Senq for the camera replacement, what's the fastest turnaround time? I'm planning to send in again to get rid of the pink spot.

Previously sent to BTS and it took 3 days only, but after seeing comments that the Senq warranty might get affected if they charge the motherboard etc resulting in change in IMEI, I'm not going to be taking any chances. Lol.

Emailing the top guns seem to do the trick. Sent phone in on 9th but have been getting 'still repairing' responses when i check. Got tired so emailed the top ppl yesterday. No reply. Today, earlier this evening, someone called to say that they understand that the management has heard my concerns about the slow progress and guaranteed the return of my phone on monday.

Thing is, out of those 9, 6 got bounced back. I'm assuming cause they resigned already. Lol.

So the 3 remaining are:

Peter
Fred
Cher

If someone has the updated list of emails it would probably be better and more effective.

So they are not from HTC Malaysia?
*
Nope. They're the top people in Taiwan? Which worked obviously. I can't recall who related a similar experience previously regarding their responses after emailing the top guns. The service personnel who handled me was most probably not Malaysian.

Called HTC, said the phone is at BTS d and can collect during lunch. Hopefully it's totally repaired now. SENQ damn terrible didn't reply anything even though I initially sent in through them.
