I think it's just that your muscle breaks up during the workout. Eat more protein and rest ... you should get over it pretty quick.

I feel some muscle ache after doing some chin up. 10x hand facing forward and 10x hand facing backward. How long do I need to rest before start weight training again ?

Depends on your body weight and the intensity of your workout.
1 serving should consist of 30 -40g protein for typical Asian body weight.

Like in bodybuilding.com forums, they have a section where people post their workout routine, diet and all that to help motivate themselves and also to help others have an idea of what to expect with that sort of diet.

For me

Breakfast [9.30AM]

1 Eggs
1 cup of milo with 4 scoup of cereal
1 slices bread

Lunch 1pm

Mixed rice =)

Tea time 3.30pm

1 apple or 1 cup of fruit juice

Dinner 6.30pm
Mixed Rice

for rice, a portion only as high in carbohydrate=)

4rings, i got a question for u regarding the low carbs diet. Thats mean the only time that u consume ur carbs is in the morning and post workout. How much of carbs would u take in the morning? for post workout i m using 0.33 x bodyweight in lbs and i took almost the same amt of complex carbs in the morning. Any refinement for clean bulk? or i need a carbs cycle?

Would u mind to share about ur preworkout meal?

As for post workout, I take about 50g of glucose polymers. That's my breakfast too. I workout in the early morning. (Now)

I had never calculated carbs intake. I kept it low when I was on low carb diet years ago. My carbs foods were from veges only.

You could try Anabolic Diet, which I made fast muscle gain and lost fats at the same time.

10 minutes is just a warm up only la, Bro. An actual workout should be between 30 min and 45 min.

(now) I don't eat for pre workout. If I woke up earlier, I would have 15g of whey protein 1 1/2 hours b4 workout or empty stomach to the gym if I was late. Post workout is my breakfast.

Trust me, before diet comes discipline! You have to have discipline to be able to control your diet. Rightly said, diet plays a huge role in weight management. All you need to do is eat healthy food, which includes lots of vegetables and fruits. Cut down the carbs and fats. Oily stuff = fats..

Curious to know more about weight control and diet? Can always PM me.. smile.gif

Fried whole eggs or scrambled whole eggs with mayo for breakfast, Chicken thighs for lunch (add a few tablespoon of undenatured oil), Beef or mutton for dinner. Remember to take plenty of oily food. If you steam your meat add more oil to the food after cooking.
Fatty foods help you to lose fat when your carb intake is low. Fats help in the absorption of protein.
