The ISPs definitely know who. They definitely have all the records of all your internet activity.

So there's no issue whether they know out not. They do.

Then it's a question of what they are going to do with that knowledge. If you keep your nose clean, never get into trouble or create trouble... chances are that nothing will happen to you your entire life. But if you one day, somehow attract the attention and displeasure of the powers that be, you can bet they will bring it all this evidence to make your life difficult.

They always say grey area. Don't know how they will want to kill you then.

So many people in SG, can they find out who is downloading who is not?  shocking.gif

ISPs have all the records. When the IP owners bring their case to court then people will start digging.

There is always a saying,"As long as you dont get caught, is ok".

Even my landlady streams and she is Singaporean.

To be honest as long as America doesnt stick their cocks at Singapore to impose strict regulations such as SOPA. It will be hard for them to catch people doing illegal streaming.

Internet is a place with no government control.

I always believe, if you like something try it out first then only buy to support the industry. Otherwise, wtf would I want to waste my money to some joker producing shitty product. But I do support jailing pedo bears online. That is a BIG NONO.

Hi, I just joined a company in SG, it's my first job in SG. But, I think it's not the right one for me, so I'm looking for a new job.
I plan not to list out this short working experience on my résumé, and tell the interviewer that I've never work in SG.

My problem is, will my future employer find out when they apply working visa for me?
Pls help, thanks notworthy.gif

All records are recorded in MOM.

In order to take on your next job you would require a new employer to update and replace the old company for sponsoring your EP visa.

Lying will get you no where. It only makes thing worst, just state another good reason to move. But in such case, even your new company will be in doubt because it shows that you dont have commitment to the old company. Unless the new company is interested in you, better not jump into the sea assuming you got a boat on the other side to land.

Then I have to be honest, just afraid that my future employer will have a bad impression of me. What's a good reason to say for leaving my previous company so soon? Any ideas? sweat.gif

If you are working here , you should have FIN number, is the work pass number issued by SG government. if you don't have any of that,
other than reload machine at MRT station, you can use the AXS machine where they provide reload service as well, but restricted to DBS/POSB

Your records will be with MoM. If your future employer checks and found out that you lied on your cv, then good luck to you. Being fired is the last of your concern.

Just becoz you lied to your employer, why should mom be concerned?

MoM is concerned if that employer filed a report against him for lying on his cv. If I can recall correctly before you can collect s pass or ep when you fill in the forms, you must declare that the info provided is true and accurate.

Does omission of information in your CV qualifies you as "lying" if everything you state in your CV is accurate and true?

How can you lie about something when you never state it in the document in the first place?
