QUOTE(Gen-X @ Dec 6 2013, 11:17 PM) OT, but I guess I will answer your question here. Wow VISA now charges 3-4% for admin fees, it is even higher than AMEX which is only 2.5% ....If you had read my article Visa Infinite - Allaince Bank vs Maybank vs UOB Bank, the Alliance Bank VI is FREE with Privilege Banking. As to your question is there other ways waive the expensive Maybank VI annual fee, I don't know since I have been getting auto annual fee waiver for the last 2 years. However, the MBB, Alliance and UOB Visa infinites are only good for converting to Enrich Miles because their overseas admin fees are high ranging between 3% to 4% as Visa International since few months back increased their conversion rates. If you don't really spend much on overseas transactions to get reward points to redeem for Enrich Miles enough for you to get a Business Class ticket - click here to read my article Enrich Miles Sales Is Fantastic for Maybank Visa Infinite 5X Treats Points, I suggest you click here to Pin Thread on Overseas Transactions where many of us report and compare different cards conversion rate. Cards like OCBC and AEON have reported to have low overseas conversion rate. |

Probably swiped my last transaction with my OCBC Ti just now for 5% extra at BBW book sale. Had been a great 2.5 years run as my favorite card.

hmm, didn't realise they change the rebate till i read from lowyat
so my current unbilled till 12 dec, I already max rm50, do i continue to spend for 1% unlimited cap, or wait till next billing cycle hmm, merchant fee is around 1.75 - 2.2%, so, 1% unlimited cap rebate is reasonable. no businesses want to make losses. oh well i'm gonna go apply m2c tomorrow, will keep ocbc and canx b4 anniv, now in the meantime i will use amex gc. ocbc shld inform existing card holder by email or send us message via ibg. quietly change the rebate is not cool at all. We should protest the removal of the rebate by mass cancelling our OCBC Titanium Card but to be honest. There's not much use of it anymore. m2c visa/mastercard is probably better now.

I'm paying my housing loan to OCBC bank,
Can i actually apply this credit card, and have the housing loan automatically paid thru the credit card every month? That way i can focus on paying just the credit card while getting the benefits/rebate. Need kind expert advises. |

QUOTE(stereokumonomu @ Dec 8 2013, 09:39 PM) I see... Yes, cc = credit card. At least that's what I use.But can we have like an automatic bill payment configured for credit card? Pardon me, I have no experience using cc (credit card right?). You can auto pay bills with your credit card but it's subject to which bank. For OCBC CC, yes. |
