QUOTE(edwardccg @ Nov 13 2013, 12:07 PM) you will get your 5% (cap at rm50) when you swipe between 13th - 28th Nov, if you swipe 29th Nov - 12 Dec then get 1% unlimited. meaning whatever usage I use from 13th nov to 28th nov will be 5% but cap at RM50 and after that its 1% unlimited right?so still can get your last 5% from 13th Nov - 28th Nov my cycle is 18th. so i only have 10 days, 19th Nov - 28th Nov to swipe for 5% just called CS to made the change, they have some date to choose from then at the end of the billing follow cap RM50 or still unlimited? |

QUOTE(edwardccg @ Nov 13 2013, 01:47 PM) last time CS answer me that transaction after 29 Nov will be unlimited on 1%. so the statement in the end could have over rm50 rebate. if you worry, just stop using after you reach rm50. i will cancel the card on next last 5% rebate rm50 anyway so at the end of the bill have more than RM50 rebate then. Am I right? https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3004019/+222 |

QUOTE(guy3288 @ Nov 14 2013, 08:52 AM) just called the CS named Thiru. He told me it is CB prorated , and i asked him by giving him example. Then he put me on hold, went checking and came back with this: Actually I got the same information from their customer service hotline. forgot to ask who is the operator, so yeah. it's going to be RM50 + 1% unlimited that you spend.i told him, my statement date 11.11.2013, if i spend RM1000 for 5% on 28.11.13, would i get CB RM50 in my statement dated 11.12.13? He said most likely not, becos posted date after 29.11.13 would only get 1%.unlimited 1% for everything icluding govt payment, insurance etc. He told me to get the 5% i must spend the RM1000 well before the last date of 29.11.13. That means if i spend RM1000 on 15.11.13, sure get posted date before 29.11.13 and this i can get MAX RM50! This is not the same as the info posted above. And he said in my coming statement dated 11.12.13 i can get total CB more than the max RM50 , as all transactions posted after 29.11.13 is entitled for the unlimited 1% CB. please you guys go confirm further and quote that Mr Thiru where i called at 8.40Am at 1 300 88 5000 |

QUOTE(Jason @ Nov 15 2013, 01:02 PM) If you spend RM1k a month, no reason to use this card at all because AEON Watami Card gives 3% for everything except petrol. AEON Watami > other CB card?If you spend less than RM1k a month better use UOB One card cause I'm sure everybody needs to pump petrol. OCBC Titanium 1% is on total "retail" spending, I'm not sure if it includes petrol or not. |

QUOTE(cfa28 @ Dec 11 2013, 12:35 PM) not many people will be willing to pay even RM50 in Annual Fee, whatmore RM388. that's why if just for the 0.2% does not bring any significant difference if you just spend RM100k/year.There is no explicit condition to waive Annual Fee unlike RHB Infinite / World where u need min spending of RM100K / RM50K to waive the Annual Fee. That remains to be seen but what do u guys think, will OCBC give AF Waiver for spending of just RM10K to RM20K? Btw, there is no mention of free bag for Titanium Card who upgrade to World Card. |

QUOTE(shawnk @ Dec 11 2013, 01:21 PM) Just checked with OCBC call centre myself. unless you use a year and cancel it off.For OCBC Titanium card - Confirmed that AF will be free for life. - No waiving of GST or RM50 rebate annually, regardless how much you spend per year For World Mastercard - RM 388 AF for second year onwards since first year is waived - AF and GST can't be waived, regardless how much you spent annually. - With 0.2%, one has to spend RM194,000 just to get back rebate of RM 388 to cover the AF. Summary: Better to stick with OCBC Titanium card if you are a die hard OCBC fan. There's plenty of equivalent CC around the market with unlimited 1% rebate, not to mention with evergreen point system no? |

QUOTE(shawnk @ Dec 11 2013, 03:16 PM) Not that. There's no reward points for OCBC Titanium card spending at all. yes update here if there is a better card I'm still looking for the 1% card. So far it seems that OCBC Titanium 1% for any retail spending seems good to have as there's none in the market (info gathered so far). Will update if found one for other retail spending better than 1%. |

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Dec 16 2013, 08:57 AM) Like you, I spend about RM1K per month only previously and I also received the upgrade offer where the first year annual fee is waived plus RM50 rebate. thanks for contributing all the time man To ALL: I just published a freaking long article where I did a comparison between OCBC Titanium MasterCard versus OCBC "fake" World MssterCard. And the OCBC Titanium MasterCard beat the heck out of the OCBC WMC. Like I said, it's a freaking long article and in the article I touched on many subjects which may not interest most of you. But if you really got time to waste, click the link below and find out why we should just stick with our OCBC TMC instead of getting the OCBC WMC: AGAIN - A Little Bit of This and A Little Bit of That. |
