QUOTE(vankodoq @ Dec 6 2013, 03:43 PM) Thanks for replying. CIMB actually got CIMB Enrich card, which I think is pretty cool. It's just they need a fixed deposit starting from RM50,000 for foreigner to apply this card. I've only been working for like 4 months right now, so still don't have that kind of money. Just got in contact with HSBC yesterday. I figured that their rewards program isn't that bad for their Visa Platinum or Signature card. Let's see how this goes. ok the one i was saying which requires pledging FD for CL is for CIMB Platinum Cashback which I'm not sure if you are interested

QUOTE(moshimaruu @ Dec 6 2013, 02:52 PM) THen now i hard to apply credit card jo.. sien lor.. Payslip and Bank Statement also got, but still give reject. Those have other which not so straight on CCRIS? Once CCRIS black, you very hard to apply any credit card. Pay off your loans then can talk. Till then, no choice lor. Banks always protect themselves, if you got history of not being able to pay, even how much you earn they won't want.

Previously in my article My Son Is Going to The USA Again on Business Class, I have shown that we get equivalent cash back up to 19.19% and 12.33% when we redeem Malaysia Airline Business Class ticket using the Enrich Miles converted from the Treats Points earned with the Maybank Visa Infinite and Maybankard 2 Cards respectively. MAS is currently have a promo and so is Enrich Miles offering 50% discount until 8th December 2013. With the Enrich Miles 50% discount, the equivalent "cash back" we earn from using the Maybank Visa Infinite and Maybankard 2 Cards increases to 30.88% and % respectively. Hi guys, how long does it take for the credit card transactions to be updated to the online banking website? I did my transaction on Friday night on petrol (somehow the machine didnt give me resit) and I did another transaction on Saturday morning (I have the resit). However, for both transactions there isnt any SMS as usual.
Oh, mine is Public Bank Gold Card.

MilesAndMore - check out my new Citibank Australia Platinum Credit Card The annual fee of AUD199 will be waived as long as I have CitiGold status. To read in detail how I got "lucky" getting the Citibank Oz Platinum credit card, click here to read my article Citibank CitiGold Debit Card and FREE Platinum Credit Card and Term Deposit Promo, at my Melbourne Victoria Australia blog. I did not need to submit any proof of income too. However, the Credit Limit assigned to me is lower than all my Malaysia credit cards (except for OCBC TMC which I had previously I requested it to be lowered from the original CL). FYI, the article above also touched on how to get perpetual higher interest rate from online accounts where we get introductory bonus interest rate for 3 to 4 months only.

Just curious... roughly how much commission can one agent/bank staff make when he/she successfully gets someone to sign up for a credit card? Sometimes I see them like die die want you to sign up, follow you walking in the mall till like 50m or so.. Surely there are people here working in the banking industry..

Depending if its bank employee (got fixed income, just go there because forced, these won't bother) or third-party contract work (no fixed income, high KPI to meet in terms of cards per day, all income tied to sign-ups).
