If i am in oversea, can the online banking system send TAC/OTP/PAC sms to my mobile when i do transaction which require the temporary password?

anyone tried before? in local will received sms "RM0.00 xxxxx". if they able to send to oversea, how is the sms charge?

When I am in Australia, I have no problema getting sms alert with Maxis for my MBB, UOB and Alliance VIs. As for the charges, I got no idea since I never check my Maxis bills since they are auto debited. Also no problems getting OTP for M2U.

sms alert you refer to the transaction alert?
since sms alert can arrive i could expect TAC/OTP can received as well?

if there is charges on sms, i guess will be showing the charges on the front of sms like "RM0.50 ......"

Yes Bro, transaction alert since I mentioned MBB, UOB and ABB Visa Infinite.

My mistake on OTP for M2U - don't need one. But I do get OTP for my MBB Visa Infinite for Internet Transaction and even Maybankard 2 AMEX Safe Key for booking Air Asia when I am in Australia.

You should be able to receive the OTP for your baking account as long as you got roaming. Bro, usually I tear off my Telco bills, too bloody thick to keep them, so can't check for you. But I guess it should not be more than RM1 per sms.

If not mistaken, OCBC titanium USED to have 5%..just recently they changed to flat-rate 1% rebate for every transaction with no maximum rebate cap.

Any one else using ocbc's titanium received a letter from them saying the rebates are all flat rate 1%? sad.gif

Yesterday I presented a Christmas gift to my readers and those active in the OCBC TMC Thread. However like any gift, it may or may not be useful or what you want, but it is the thought and effort that counts, hahaha.

So, if you want my Christmas gift too all, then click on the link below to receive it tongue.gif

The Best Cash Back Credit Cards - How To Earn Money From The Right Credit Cards for Up To RM7K Spending per Month.

user posted image

From my article, you will note that the Alliance Bank Debit Cards are really good for those who spend above RM2K/month, to earn more from cash back.

I also just posted at FD Thread that - Alliance Bank is offering 3.45% 6 Months straight forward Fixed Deposit Promo without the stupid CASA thingy. Promo ends 31 December 2013.

So maybe it is a good time now for you to go get either the Alliance Platinum or Premium Debit Card and earn 1.5% and 2% cash back respectively.

And if you are going for the Alliance Premium Debit Card, might as while get the Alliance Privilege Banking Visa Infinite which is FREE FOR LIFE and you get UNLIMITED entries to Plaza Premium Lounges worldwide too. If you got time, click here and read my article on Maybank, UOB and Alliance Bank Visa Infinite.

Question here.

Since my thread was removed by moderator.

Lets say I got 2 CCs.
1Visa
1Mastercard
Same limit, different banks.

Already used 40% on Visa.
Can I use 100% on Mastercard or only 60%?

Thanks.

maybankard 2 amex, pay on weekend using M2U
5% + 5x points = 7% (assuming your quota of RM1k spending not exhausted yet)
