Have you seen the promo they offer for new SCB customers? Free gift worth hundreds or even thousands of ringgit?

Even if hold the card for free (GST covered, no annual fee) you're still not getting benefits like the new customer. Better cancel the card and then reapply next year after 12 month period to get free gift. For normal usage other cards better (except if you're dining in the SCBC discount places).

SCB wont be that stupid (pardon me) only reward those new applicants while ignoring their existing customers.

I already enjoyed their heavy cash reward and waivers from SCB. What could i ask more from them?

Wa, very strong word you used.

Fag is mainly used as an offensive term for homosexuals. Although it has other meanings, you should probably avoid it at all costs.

This is a very strong word that should be avoided in nearly all situations: fag (short for faggot) is a hateful slur against homosexuals. Because fag is such an offensive word, the other meanings are uncommon, but fagging has also meant working hard and getting tired, as in fagging out

Very strong words indeed, full with hatred.
Jealous that you can't spend that much?

For free RM300 promo
http://www.standardchartered.com.my/promo/...0901-I:10000217

The total i get is rm250 because rm50 is used to pay gst?
*
Just want to the check with you, is the Annual Fees waived? If no, then there wouldn't be much of a benefit, right? Since the Annual Fees itself is RM250. And if you add in the GST, that will be RM300 in total. So in short, it's just about waiving off the Annual Fees and credit card GST?

What's there left with SCB CC as a customer for 5 years?

- They removed the 5x reward point for oversea spendings.
- The reward items are getting lesser and lesser, the latest addition is last season Liverpool jersey.
- No more MAS airport lounge access.
- They hike up all the points requirement for item like PS3 etc.
- They promised to revamp the reward program by Q1 this year, now is already Q4. I don't see anything at all...

The worst thing is, already complaint via multiple channel.... yet still the same.

You should try using their online feedback form. I think they have a super smart "rant" checking system, because after you voiced out all your frustration, and the system prompt a system error after you click "Submit". I laughed after that, what else can I do?

I wrote a very "nice" feedback to them, but guess they are just numb to all these from their existing customers. They were very prompt last time, not sure what happened to them now. Maybe they need a major re-org?

Better stop doing it, you'll boil over it. Capture a screen shot and just send it over via email.

Do not go for Stanchart card. After sales customer service is horrible. I was conned to believe I can get a smart tag. They then call me up later to tell me that stock has finished. They will compensate with RM120 rebate. Then I find it funny it isn't there. They say you're not entitled cause activate card later than one month. I say your sales person did not tell me any of this. Operator Lukman tells me, if my sales ppl need to tell you all the terms and conditions he will be very busy. I was so pissed. I post up something in lowyat, I think Stanchart requested it to be removed. Don't want people to know. I post up the link at their website to forum complain for ppl to see, they remove that as well. I am going to continue to update this forum here for the benefit of all to see if you should sign up for Stanchart card or not. Sales girl was Lim Si and her manager is Ivan Soo from PJ state branch. She kept pushing me to sign up say her boss is chasing her for the target. After almost a month, I give in and help her. Now they don't care to help.

they waived me the rm50 gov tax when i called to cancel my visa business platinum early this year... and on top of that, in order to keep me, they offered me for a balance transfer up to half of my credit limit for 6 months at 0% interest. of course i maxed it and did a rm11k balance transfer to pay off my other 3 credit cards billing. rclxms.gif

maybe you should just call to waive the gov tax as it is much faster. hmm.gif

actually last time i called to cancel the card then they offer me points to offset the RM 50 GST...when I used the point to do that, the points were deducted successfully but they never pay me back the RM 50 which they alrdy charged me.
