Any tnc applied to redeem in cash? (mean minus my credit card spending)

How long the effective?

*never redeem any before, don't think to exchange with gifts become seems not worth
*
Doesn't have any expiry date and you can redeem as cash back. You can redeem in 1 shot and no minimum amount.

Anyone here uses CashBack Gold?

How does the Cash Back work?
Is it a tier cash back or it jump the the next category and apply % on entire retail amount?

For example:
If my retail spent is RM1300, do I get
(a) RM25 or
(b) RM10 + RM24 = RM35

If you spend RM 1300, you will only get 3% on non Insurance or Petrol retail spend, subject to a cap of RM 25.

So if the RM 1300 is not on Insurance or Petrol, then you will only get RM 25 (cap), which is only an effective cashback of 1.9%.

The way to maximize the cash back % is by spending exactly RM 500, RM 833 or RM 1500. That way, you will get either 2%, 3% or 3.33% effective cash back.

For the spend 833, how much of it needs to be retail transactions, as I know we need to spend 1000 out of the 1500 total spend to get rm50 rebate
*
Actually that is a good question. For RM833 spend, it has to be all eligible transactions in order to maximize 3% rebate. Say if you spend RM800 on eligible tranx and RM33 on non-eligible tranx, you only get RM24, so RM833 all is only for eligible tranx.

The same goes for 2%.

I see that insurance can be counted for cash back. Isn't this one of the best cash back cards for insurance if I can trigger the cash back?

Eg if insurance RM2000 + utilities RM500, get back 15% (but capped at RM50), it is still equivalent of a 2% cash back (50/2500x100%). What other cards can give 2% back for insurance?

Did i interpret this correctly?

Similar to what I thought, this would emerge as the BEST insurance CC for now. Unless the insurance is charged to Aeon/ Aeon Big cc and paid with high cash back for online payment like PBVS/CIMB.

Let say spending of RM2,000 on insurance and RM500 on either petrol or eCommerce, I would still get RM85 cash back which is 3.4% equivalent. I take it as 3.4% cb for my insurance in this case. Used to have Aeon to give 3.4% cash back equivalent for insurance, but now it seems that this is an excellent card for insurance, provided can hit RM2,500 combination of the eligible cash back spending monthly.

Thanks. Looks like this is the best card for insurance cash back if can use up to RM2500. Even after taking into account annual fees of RM265, the cash back is still about 2.5%.
