Question to those that have been using the Cash Back Gold Mastercard..
Looking at the cashback % table, there's a max rebate cap.. E.g. if you spend 500, cashback is 2% and cap is RM 10.
therefore, even if i spend 799, my cashback is still capped at RM 10, right?
so, a strategy to maximize cashback would be to always push it to the next tier if it's already close to it? e.g. swipe RM 1 online transaction to get into the 3% tier, instead of using UOB VOX/PBB VS for their 6%?
you most probably got confused by the ringgitplus, the cash back will not calculated by all the amount you spent x the max tierLooking at the cashback % table, there's a max rebate cap.. E.g. if you spend 500, cashback is 2% and cap is RM 10.

the calculation will 1st deduct the previous tier's amount then times the percentage
update :sorry, i mixed up this with alliance younique
this card you were right about it, you need to spend till 800 to enjoy the new tier, but you should spend until 833 to enjoy full rm25 rebate, if you spend only 800, the rebate only rm24, haha
