just want to confirm

is it easy to waive the annual fee RM185.5?

and what is the max cash back cap per month?

RM50 or RM85 if I spend RM500+RM800+RM1500=RM2800?

Thank you

Max is RM50 only.

hmm.gif
so how much to spend in order to get the RM50? I get confusing about the table on https://www.sc.com/my/credit-cards/goldcard/gold-card.html

the first RM500 x 2% = RM10
then another RM833 x 3% (so in total RM500+RM833=RM1333) to get another RM25
and spend another RM300 x 5% (so in total RM500+RM833+RM300=RM1633) to get RM15

Is it the way to get the max RM50?

or
the first RM500 x 2% = RM10
then another RM833 x 3% (so in total RM500+RM833=RM1333) to get another RM25
and spend another RM1000 x 5% ? (so in total RM500+RM833+RM300=RM1633) to get RM50 but you only can get RM15

thank rclxub.gif

To maximize just spend 1.5k and u will be eligible for the 5%

1.5k * 5% = 75 (RM50 cap)

so the effective rate is 50/1500 = 3.33%

P/S : I not sure why so many people is confused with the calculation. laugh.gif

Maybe they confuse when see "Minimum Retail Spend Excluding Petrol & Insurance(RM)"

This part is misleading
*
thank you bro, now I got it rclxm9.gif
just spend RM1.5k only but need to ask to waive the annual fee every year

scb really took fast response, reject my application within 10 min after I applied thru Internet.

This is because I havent pay full outstanding balance of my ptptn, and I just made the full outstanding payment yesterday, wanted to test whether they will still accept my application even if my ccris report indicate i have owe ptptn.

This prove that CCRIS will only updated on monthly basis and u will never get approved  for credit card application if u owe ptptn money.
*
but in my case
almost 1 week ady
no news at all
I think most likely they will reject my application hmm.gif

i also agree with u, i think for those card explicitly mentioned how u can enjoy free AF waiver cannot/very hard be waived,  but seems like both scenario not applied to SCB according to some ppl's comment. (is it applied to SC Air miles card?)

I spent over 30K in my most basic UOB classic card but the bank officer still dont want to waive for me...
*
oh no

The annual Membership fee (RM636) will be waived if you have spent at least RM100,000 per annum on the WorldMiles Card in the past 12 months

blink.gif oh no...going to cancal it after a while

when i applied the gold cash back online Received call from PriceSolutions and offer me this WorldMiles Card
now both cards ady delivery to me

https://www.sc.com/my/campaign/credit-card-offer/

Exclusively for WorldMiles MasterCard World application

Receive a set of Fiorucci luggage (24” + 20”) worth RM1,198 when you sign up for the WorldMiles MasterCard World credit card.

For other credit card applications

Receive a Fiorucci luggage (24”) worth RM699 when you sign up for the JustOne Platinum/Gold MasterCard or Platinum Visa/MasterCard or CashBack Gold MasterCard credit card.

i also have no idea whether i will receive both fiorucci luggage (24" + 20" ) and fiorucci luggage (24") with RM50 activation cashback or
only fiorucci luggage (24" + 20" ) with RM50 activation cashback

anyone got this before?

I don't think so it can be done for THIS Card, I mean call-in Request for AF waiver...

Most of the SCB card we can EZly get Waiver becos these Cards don't got any PPL Entry & Airmile Conversation privileges, & just a Basic Cards with a little benefit only, We can also get waiver even with 0 spending a year... !!!
As,
Your new SCB WorldMiles World MasterCard...
The annual Membership fee (RM636) will be waived if you have spent at least RM100,000 per annum on the WorldMiles Card in the past 12 months. (What I want to said here, we Actually paid $$$ to enjoy the benefits)
https://www.sc.com/my/edm/scb9917-worldmiles-cardmember/
*
so no problem to waive the annual fee for both gold cash rebate even the supplemetary card?
only this SCB WorldMiles World MasterCard can't be waived......but the first year the annual fee is waived right? only the next year they wil charge the monthly fee?

I think you also need to pay the 2016 Annual Fee , but just RM190.80 , they Only Revised to $636 by 2017. As,

* The annual membership fee will be revised to RM636 p.a. effective from March 2017. In the meantime, you can continue to enjoy the above array of travel offers and privileges to complement your highflying lifestyle with your current membership fee of RM190.80 p.a.

You can spend RM50 to petrol to be exactly RM1500 of rebate categories.

However, your cash rebate 5% will be based on retail transactions without petrol
*
do you mean swipe with anything (with/without petro or insurance) as long as to the amount of RM1.5k to enjoy the 5% rclxub.gif
