The replaced card with new card no.

1st fraud kena in April, replaced card never do online payment until 1 week ago bought Qatar airways ticket online. Too tempted for the potential 40k TP, so I broke the self-imposed banned and used Amex just for this one. Mana tahu so fast kena again.

Are you an IT guy(MSC logo)? Could it be Trojan on your PC?

Don't know. On second thought, I paid Qatar airways using principal card but the supplementary card was the one kena fraud. My supp card never make online payment, only occasional normal shop merchant transactions. rclxub.gif

Why not? AMEX spending is not being categorized and as long as the transaction date falls on weekend, you're entitled to the rebate.

Confirmed. Bought RM 850 about 3 months ago, of course during one of the weekends.

Now I remember, when I signed up at branch I wasn't given the option to choose MasterCard or visa for the 2nd card, the option wasn't in the form. What shld I do?

On maybank website it doesn't say we can choose either MasterCard or visa, while in the first post here I see we can choose either MasterCard or visa to couple the Amex. Someone clarify this matter? Thanks.

yes, there is no option to choose in the form.. and it also not stated in the website.. from the website, it will say only mastercard.. but actually you can request during sign up to get visa and they will write it on the form.. for me last time, the agent ask me to choose visa or mastercard.. if you lucky, they will ask you too..

There was once they switched to make VISA the default card, now not sure.

I asked for VISA because that time I have another MasterCard from another bank, then cancelled it off after I got OCBC Ti which is also a MasterCard.

I got both VISA when I applied MBB2 Gold and Plat (separate application, not upgrade).

So I guess there's no default.

I was asked if I wanted visa or master, I chose visa since I have ocbc ti, but now planning to cancel the ocbc ti and wish I had selected mbb2 master instead sad.gif
