applied the Maybank 2 Gold today via branch, was told to wait for news in 2 weeks, hope i can get it

Now I remember, when I signed up at branch I wasn't given the option to choose MasterCard or visa for the 2nd card, the option wasn't in the form. What shld I do?

On maybank website it doesn't say we can choose either MasterCard or visa, while in the first post here I see we can choose either MasterCard or visa to couple the Amex. Someone clarify this matter? Thanks.

Most likely I'll be getting the MasterCard since it's the default choice if never request?

how did you sign up for Pay by Phone? i setup thru MyMaxis but nothing about my credit card details shows in there.
so before 1PM on Saturday is the safest bet to get the 5% cashback?

i registered for Pay-by-Phone service via MyMaxis last Thursday, on Tuesday i received a SMS saying my registration is under process. does this mean I'm waiting for the 6 digit PIN in order to use the automated phone payment service? because I phoned CS just now to confirm if my AMEX is ready to use and he said yes. so i proceeded with the phone payment and was stuck in entering the 6 digit pin level. pls advice

apparently there has been a glitch in their system prompting my registration unsuccessful (CS just got back with me) and i have to re-register again for Pay-by-Phone service. i'm guessing registration first then pay via phone with a PIN is the automated way? and your way is the manual method where we have to call in advance so that AMEX will call back us to transact?

During registration via MyMaxis I'm able to select which account to be linked with my credit card. Maybe if you have multiple accounts merged into MyMaxis (not sure if that is possible) then maybe again you could pay multiple accounts.

while i can't deny the 5X TREATS points by Amex is really gooding, its counterpart MC/Visa's rewarding system isn't really that attractive enough. since there are many other better options out there, i wonder what card do you all substitute it with to complement with Amex?
on another note i noticed TREATS points for the 2 cards are seperated, i read it somewhere that the points can be merged, is it true?

how to merge the points? by calling CS?
last week i swiped the MC for the first time, can't get any syokness at all like when i get it from swiping Amex
most likely will look into the AEON Watami since it's more of a hybrid like M2C (Reward points + CB)
