if that's the case, then no problem. oh ya, just as a reminder, another merchant that doesn't process during weekend is agoda. sweat.gif

MAS and Airasia process instantly.

Jetstar however process mine a day later. Bought on Sunday afternoon. Transaction date on Monday. Don't know if it's an isolated case.

thanks for the info.

but looking the exchange rate AMEX is charging, not that worth if purchase in foreign currency.
I think Citibank debit card still provide the best exchange rate based on my experience so far

How does the dispute part works? (else can someone just point in out where I can refer to? :s kanchiong)
I just received SMSes saying that I made certain purchases with my AMEX which I didn't. Called CS to cancel card.

After raising dispute do I still need to pay for the outstanding+interest rate? Cause CS said will take up to a month to clear.

Is this common? :S

Ask for dispute form. Fill up and submit at counter or fax or scan/email over.
Wait up to 45 days, normally refund you back.
In the meantime, MBB will tell you no need pay the dispute amount and the interest will be taken out if it ever gets charged (if dispute reversal)

Even with the higher exchange rate, the 5% + 2% will still make it cheaper than other cards.

Good News - Our MBB 2 AMEX  now has MSOS SafeKey.

I wanted to purchase Air Asia ticket and was rejected because I needed to activate AMEX MSOS SafeKey.

So I called MBB CS and registered for the MSOS for my AMEX. Within minutes I received an SMS informing that my registration has been successful and immediately I can purchase the Air Asia tickets.

alexwsk, bro, can i suggest that the AMEX SafeKey feature be mentioned somewhere in Page#1.

And those of you who have took the time to post kind words here at LYN informing me that you appreciate my hard work, I am grateful to each and every one of you notworthy.gif notworthy.gif and to show my gratitude, I just published an article Zillions Thanks for Your Support. and if you are a facebook user, I also thanked you guys at my Facebook Account.

Also special thanks to alexwsk and ronnie for including links to my articles and b00n too who was the first person to include link to My Credit Cards blog many years ago before we have this CC section notworthy.gif

As far as I know, not possible. Maybe you can call CS and see if they can help to retrieve it for you.
