I just came back from overseas for good lately and don't have a job yet. My friend is working in Maybank and being told to look for more customers to apply CC. I could get Gold card if I can put at least RM5k FD for 1 year.
So should I go for it so that in Malaysia will have at least my financial record and a bit easier to get loan in the future? There is no problem with my financial as of now |

Good News - Our MBB 2 AMEX now has MSOS SafeKey.
I wanted to purchase Air Asia ticket and was rejected because I needed to activate AMEX MSOS SafeKey. So I called MBB CS and registered for the MSOS for my AMEX. Within minutes I received an SMS informing that my registration has been successful and immediately I can purchase the Air Asia tickets. |

i just noticed that the maybank treatpoint had depreciated 20%.
i got about 8 million points, which mean i lost about rm800 of this. maybank never inform before this depreciate. i just know the treatpoint had been change from never expire, to 3 years validity, but never notice about this treatpoint depreciate until now. ok, i am slowpoke, but feel upset and unhappy with this maybank action. so now the amex 5x point is equivalent to 2% only. |

It's very generous of Maybank that allows you to withdraw your FD even when the card is till active as other banks do not allow you to do so.Anyway, all looks look. Go get your Maybankard 2 Cards now and use your card wisely  By the way, i think you have to pay the stamping fee for the agreement (to apply for credit card using such method). |
