QUOTE(spikey2506 @ Oct 23 2013, 06:39 PM) Ah yes. That's what happened. They even transferred my outstandng balance over. IIRC they are able to transfer everything except auto debit instructions and also Easy Pay. If you signed up the auto debit with Maybank (eg. tnb or telekom) then it can be transferred, while if you sign up with merchant (eg. insurance), then you have to update the merchant on new card number. |

I didn't register for SMS alerts, but on and off will get transactions alert randomly. Autopay like Astro, TM and Tenaga usually go through every month without alerts but for October, I received all 3 alerts for the Autopay. In fact Autopay for Astro was done on Saturday, 19 Oct morning hence the cash rebate and 5X points using Amex.

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Oct 25 2013, 01:13 PM) That's what I thought; but, recently I got a sms from MBB saying that it was used to pay one of my Maxis account. Can't remember the last time I got a similar sms ... odd. I registered my MBB2 Amex as Autopay for DiGi and never received SMS notification for it until this month.Maybe they're making it standard for transactions where the card isn't present? |

QUOTE(mgb @ Oct 26 2013, 01:14 PM) I've been using amex gold card for more than 5 years, they have never waived the gst. Been using mbb cc for more than 6 years.... no luck. Coz under no circumstances they would do anything with ur gst I think. Redeem with TP in the only way i guess. You have to use your points to waive it. |

QUOTE(bearbear @ Oct 23 2013, 03:42 PM) Above was posted at Enrich Miles Thread. For those who want to redeem their Treats Points and get the 10% or 15% extra Enrich Miles, the offer is good until 15 November 2013. Just call Maybank Customer Service and give them your Enrich Miles Account Number. And the Enrich Miles converted should be in your Enrich Miles Account within a week. If you are one of those who are into Enrich Miles and what the best conversion rate from FREE credit cards, I did published an article on my Visa Infinite cards offering 5X reward points - click here to see comparison of Enrich conversion rate and other benefits between Alliance Visa Infinite vs Maybank VI vs UOB Bank VI. |
