That's what I thought; but, recently I got a sms from MBB saying that it was used to pay one of my Maxis account. Can't remember the last time I got a similar sms ... odd.

If you signed up the auto debit with Maybank (eg. tnb or telekom) then it can be transferred, while if you sign up with merchant (eg. insurance), then you have to update the merchant on new card number.

I didn't register for SMS alerts, but on and off will get transactions alert randomly. Autopay like Astro, TM and Tenaga usually go through every month without alerts but for October, I received all 3 alerts for the Autopay. In fact Autopay for Astro was done on Saturday, 19 Oct morning hence the cash rebate and 5X points using Amex.

No, due to I applied it on friday night (around 8pm) at midvalley. The 1 hour is only available during 9am - 5pm within monday - friday. The officer kept my document on monday, tuesday approved.

One more thing, first page of this thread need to update the new application form. The officer told me old application form can not process. Fortunately , officer accept scan copy after I sign which i print from online.

I registered my MBB2 Amex as Autopay for DiGi and never received SMS notification for it until this month.

Maybe they're making it standard for transactions where the card isn't present?

does the agoda discount promotion applicable for AMEX card? i read in their website it states that only visa or matercard is entitle for the 7% discount. but when i try to key in amex in agoda, it automatically -7% out. anyone tried using amex through agoda and gets the 7% discount?

any chance for us to get waived for the RM50 annual service tax? can call them to waive it since I am a long term mbb card holder?

I've been using amex gold card for more than 5 years, they have never waived the gst.
You have to use your points to waive it.

Been using mbb cc for more than 6 years.... no luck. Coz under no circumstances they would do anything with ur gst I think. Redeem with TP in the only way i guess.

if u use amex, and still it give -7%, and the fact that using amex has more benefits than visa/mc, what's stopping you from going ahead with the transaction? u scared u break the law, and will get fined?

Anyone experience that SMS payment alert is now off? I contacted the customer service two weeks ago to reactivate the alert with minimum threshold RM 1. But still no SMS alert receive when I made payment today. > 500 hundred ringgit.
