I didn't test any further since it was not bootable at 500MHz first try... But you can get the result here

Aiye bro, if 500MHz also cannot then no point buy ler biggrin.gif ... Better get some Ballistix or value D9GMH from bulk here thumbup.gif
As for the Vdimm, higher doesn't get any better just caused instability. Not sure about me, need other forumers to confirm this as well...

You mean single sided rams with chipset only at one side right? smile.gif
Well actually, it all depends on the chipset also.

If the chipset sucks in overclocking, one sided or double sided doesn't make any differences also.
So the most important things is the chipset itself.

Correct me if i'm wrong guys. notworthy.gif

guys, i would be getting the ballistix sooner or later, pc26400 800MHz.

jus wanna ask, is it safe to set Vdimm for this ram to 2.2V? somehow i feel like 2.2V is a little too high and probably could damage the RAM.. anyone can clarify this, as well as state the best Vdimm for this RAM? Thanx in advance..

IMO, 2.2 vdimm still under safety voltage.
Even my corsair xms running 2.2 vdimm 24/7, I think should not be a problem if u using with ballistix.

No. You're wrong.
Even if u have a ram with Brainpower PCB 8 layers but with crappy chipset, it won't go anywhere.

The main important thing to find on a ram first is the chipset.
PCB is just a plus point.

DDR2 with 2.2V is actually much safer if got active cooling on it.

OIC. Some forumers say that they couldn't possibly know about it.

Anyway, going to get my new rig soon, will keep mine at 2.2v. nod.gif
