wah.... rlhc17, is it memtest stable onot???

i got a problem here... i can't mix my rams (2x 1gb team vr & 2 x 512mb kingston hyper-x) on my mobo... i can run them in pair independently (means 2 x hyper-x n 2 x team vr seperately) at more than 400mhz (800mhz effetively) with same vdimm, same timing, same every other setting... but when i have all 4 rams running, they boot into windows but fail most of the softwares... n they oso run much slower... any idea???

currently running at 400fsb x 9 with team vr... stable... i thought it was bios problem but some other users at abit forum confirm the new bios (same as the one i'm using) is ok to work all 4 dimm slots... now me oso blur... is it i can't rojak my rams???

i've tried to run 800mhz with 4-4-4-12 n 1000mhz with 5-5-5-15 on my oced e6600 (400 x 9) but ther isn't much different... the 800mhz setting score lower time in super pi 1m n 32m... if the ram can run at 1000mhz with 4-4-4-12 lor 10 then i do believe it'll gain a slightly lower time in super pi...

i had 1 pair of 512mb kingston hyper-x ddr800 did 920mhz at 4-4-4-12 at 2.2vdimm... so i guess it's not that bad... if at looser timing i guess it'll still climb a bit higher in mhz...

Attached Image
ocz crossfire ready ddr800 2gb kit (red)

Attached Image
ocz platinium rev.2 ddr800 2gb kit

Attached Image
ocz reaper ddr800 2gb kit (heatpipe)

ok, i'm not a good ram ocer but these rams look nice so i bought them, n will sell off 1 or 2 pairs after testing... my mobo (975) can only go nothing more than 1100 or even in most case 1050mhz for ddr... so if can run at 1000mhz, then i think these rams should be good enuf... i'll see how much can they go... any1 tried them before care to share??? biggrin.gif

kiong ohmy.gif 1200mhz with 5-5-5-15??? wat's the vdimm??? is it stable??? ie. memtest, orthos or occt???

bro, have u tried lowering the vdimm... crucial usually need lower vdimm to operate at 1000mhz compare to other brands... n it's usual dat crucial heat spreader is a bit hotter too... u might need ram cooler (fans) too... hmm.gif
