AFAIK, PROMOS or Elpida UTT based chips. But sometimes you might get the lousier D9 binnings

lousier d9 667mhz can stable on 800mhz or higher ?

no prob for that... lots of lyn members been running the team value ram (667) with d9 chips for more than 800mhz 4-4-4-10...

at that time i went to the shop.. and i ask crucial that they mentioned in the price list.. i want to see the real item.. then he show me the 10th ann.. and he say that the thing with the RM190 price.. i hold that thing n sure the item is 10th anniversary.... dunno wat chip..

As from the previous cases, many lyn ppl able to OC their team value RAM which is lousy D9 chip.
but different batch, different result u will get... doesn't guarantee that u can stable at 800MHz.

if is 10th ann, should be D9GMH ...

and to add..the cream of D9s. hand picked

out of topic.. but HELPING forumer get what they want

plan to buy 2x1GB value ram . any suggestion ?

2.mushkin (D9...?)
3.kingston (hynix ...?)

cheapest possible? than KVR hynix will do..or patriot value hynix

2.how abt D9DQT , saw on the 1st page , good oc ability ?
3.beside D9GMH D9GKX , wat is the best recommend ram chip ?

thing is, there's no 'cheap' D9 on the market now , even more on Value rams. (unless you can really dig out those really really old stocks)
If ur lookin for chips other than D9s, the elpidas and promos will do tight timing at low speeds, eg: 4-4-4-10 @ ddr2- 900 the max. it wont scale higher even with added volt or loose timings.

The Hynix FP-Y5 is indeed proven to go above DDR2-1000, CL5-5-5-15 off course with relatively little additional voltage (1.9v-2.0v)

If i were you, i would go for patriot values with hynixs

but very hard to find patroit and team ram right ?

yes the patriots and teams 'should' have no prob goin over ddr2 1000

it's not ballistix,it's only Crucial 10th anniversary.

it's limited edition and it has been discontinued since year 2006,i wonder why they can get the new one anyway...

i can do 1200Mhz 4-4-4-10 with 2.6vdimm (the Anny) while coolice managed to get 1200MHz 4-4-4-10 with 2.55vdimm with his Crucial ballistix (non-tracer).

so this handpicked chipset dont know why cannot perform better than non-handpicked GMH.

maybe u have to try ur luck.
