QUOTE(Are_keem @ Aug 31 2007, 07:52 PM) Elipda? never heard before, or is it Elpida? hehe.. between FP-Y5 and D9GKX, which one can reach DDR1000 easier? depends on what u mean by easier, personally i tested both, both of them can reach 1000mhz just that Hynix FPY5 Rev C needs 5-6-5-5-15 @ 2.0v to do that...rev b does it at 5-5-5-15 @ 2.0v

QUOTE(8tvt @ Aug 31 2007, 09:06 PM) mine also KVR D9GKX... details on my sig.. but it's hard to push higher than 550.. some say becoz of brisbane.. with current setting also can easily hit >10k theoritical b/width.. so not expecting much.. maybe can try later if got phenom.. i don't think brisbane is the reason that can't push over 1100. Take a look at these pic, 1st pic is my result 1140 with brisbane
2nd pic , i grabbed it from a china website. 1248MHz. He is using D9GCT ram
Please ignore the vdimm , stability and other issues. The reason i post this is just to show you that it is possible to OC ur ram more than 1100 by using brisbane. That's all. This post has been edited by dblooi: Sep 2 2007, 02:34 PM

Since that day you tried to lecture me about that. Quite a dissapointment to know that actually your d9gkx can't even reach 1100 This post has been edited by dblooi: Sep 4 2007, 12:38 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

Quite a dissapointment to know that actually your d9gkx can't even reach 1100 1200MHz Mine highest is 1050MHz. Cant go higher anymore. Maybe due to 4 ram sticks. Last time, 2 sticks of ram can reach 1100MHz. No problem. -pWs-

Quite a dissapointment to know that actually your d9gkx can't even reach 1100 u got me wrong.. it's just normal KVR and not even rated to do above 1.8v.. i'm not intend to push high and ruin the chip.. if anything happens u want to replace them? even kingston also not guaranty to replace with the same chip.. lol u donno? 1200 doesn't mean anything if loose the timing and need higher voltage n not even stable.. no point for me..

So please stop crapping here This post has been edited by dblooi: Sep 4 2007, 02:33 PM

You will have to bear in mind that not all can overclocks like others, doesn't matter any brand, its the same for all. Its like proc, same batch, but overclockability differs.
