I know about DDR2 Ram List long enough.

You can't depend on that list anymore, it's not reliable enough nowadays since it is not updated for a very long time.

In terms of overclockability, they can overclock up to 1100MHz, however, they are weak in terms of latency and timings.


Yes, what kucingfight say is true, those ProMOS chipset do performs better than FP-Y5, but don't expect it to perform at the same level as D9GMH & D9GKX.

That depends on what kind of chipset is used on the ram itself.

Besides that,what about cooling solutions..? the ram itself is barely naked,will it effect the overclocking..?

some question regarding the test for ram settings.......regarding latency

current i have my mushkin DDR800 stock 5,5,5,15 to run timing of 4,4,4,12 @ 2.15v..........i am running it on P965 Dark
it's PI32M stable but not othos, any idea where should i tweak to get this fix........ anyone have some experince to share it.......

other then orthos others everything seems to be working very well..... and no crashes so far after few days of running

i am nobb so i got some queastion bout d DDR2 ram...
my fren using Corsair XMS2 DDRII-800 ram tat he overclocked to 1300mhz , but timing at 7-7-7-21 is tat possible can run or any1 running tis timing b4??

i think not possible.. loose timing for sure he doesnt need any high voltage.. long life span.. as long ram did not hit the wall

Added on October 1, 2007, 7:56 pmtry to up the vdimm.. make sure it not burn ur ram too much.. and have cooling oso.. coz u r using tight timing it maybe effect when u try to push ur HT or fsb

i dun think FSB or HT is the problem, as i have gone higher without any problem at looser timing......... cooling also no problem, i have 120mm fan blasting it.....vdimm i have tried 2.2 but still no effects

there are just too much setting in the DFI boards for dram timing........... i guess need to take time to see what excatly each one does...........

btw i need some advice fom experts around here what does these settings related to ?
1. GTL+ Drive Strength
2. Enchanced Data Transmitting,
3. Enchanced Addressing
4. DQ Calibration
5. Clk fine delay

so any ideas all the experts over here........
