QUOTE(volrath @ Nov 10 2013, 09:13 PM) I don't see any of those 3 relevant, per se. It happened in literally all the other NovembersHeck, this curse is even non-existent! Yeah, it happened so many times during this November (dang my birthday is in November too lol) My point is, it's just something we look on to, without any backed up logic behind it. |

If its the weather, then Chelsea players must not be the only ones.
Afterall, players have changed for many Novembers already what...lol. Okay screw logic, some Harry Potters might have landed down a spell onto us. |

Well Man City and Spurs lost too, seems like everybody is giving Arsenal a chance to increase the gap.

Spurs lose. City lose. Jaw-dropped when I saw soccernet just now.
Arsenal will win the title Apparently, Krul decided to channel Oliver Kahn today. And if you thought we had it tough with our bogey teams, think again. This post has been edited by Zeuss1220: Nov 11 2013, 12:19 AM |

QUOTE(CeDhhVss @ Nov 10 2013, 07:36 AM) Thanks for the input mate, but my opinion stands.a few points will illustrate my perspective:Was reid going for the ball? - No Was there contact? -Yes definitely, initiated by reid as well. Was the contact enough for it to be deemed a foul? -Observe the speed of ramires when he was bursting into the box,and his small physique, most definitely.a slight barge is all it takes for him to be sent flying. But having said that,if it was lampard/terry/demba ba/ivanovic tumbling down in the same manner, then yes it would be very questionable.it would still be a foul, but most probably not enough to bring players with that kind of stature down, hence the pen wouldn't be given. QUOTE(CityBluePrint @ Nov 10 2013, 05:22 PM) Its a penalty. This. I have skinny futsal mates who just can't withstand forceful but fair tackles from the side or even slight nudges from behind ,as they'll end up falling over forwards. It has a lot to do with their speed and weight, apart from the fact that it simply doesn't make sense to try and 'win' penalties in a game purely organised for fun!3. Professional Foul. Those who played football understand what Reid was trying to do. Watch Reid left shoulder dipped subtly for the 'elbowing'. |

Well now MU is in the mix again. Next game is an away game against WHU. Chelsea really need to have a stable team playing week in week out.
We lack penetration and our crosses are just miserable to look at judging by our game against WBA. Lampard should be off and replace him with Mikel for defensive duties and let Ramires roam free like last season. |

QUOTE(Alexdino @ Nov 11 2013, 09:38 AM) Haih i do feel that playing azpi on the right vs wba could've made a world of difference, purely on his crossing ability and pace alone. For the amount of space and time iva was afforded on the ball, the quality of his crossing was quite embarrassing. I love brana, but if he doesn't improve that aspect of his game, azpi should rightly take his place. Its well worth sacrificing that slight aerial advantage imo. Azpi was no slouch under benitez, and hopefully jose will realise this soon. This post has been edited by Kerplunk: Nov 11 2013, 12:09 PM |

This explains why Iva should be a CB, not a RB. Iva is good in the air, tough tackler. His crossings really just normal. His pace too. But Mou see him as a Gallas. Rmb Gallas? Mou played him in CB, LB. For the amount of space and time iva was afforded on the ball, the quality of his crossing was quite embarrassing. Ivan is preferred so that mou can easily change formation to 3 CBs if need be for more bodies in midfield.

To be honest. Our 3-5-2 not the ori 3-5-2. If u want a balanced 3-5-2, look at Liverpool's attempt. Enrique and Johnson being the wingbacks. Then Sakho, Skrtel and Toure is the 3 CB. This way it is more balance. Our 3-5-2 is just deployed when we're chasing the game. It's a modification from Mou.
And to be honest, I think we drew the game because of Steve Clarke. He knows our club from inside out. So no big surprise he found a way to stop us from playing our football. |
