I think it's typo by writer. Should be Roberto Mancini.

He seems to be good. Last season he did quite well in UCL games, but i doubt he is a player capable of being a top player. If he really is that good, 28 years old he should be playing in some top European league already, why still in Galatasaray?

What was Luiz doin?!?! Did he heard a call from Cech to leave it? Did he not see the pass? Or was it a miscue?

I'm sure Mou will scold him 9 9.

I think it is definitely miscommunication between Luiz and Cech.

Cech expect Luiz which is nearer to the ball to intercept and move on. While Luiz expect Cech to be running out to catch the pass.

Just hope Luiz will be more mature as a defender under Mou.

Cole what injury eh? Will be sidelined for how long?

I think we have enough cover for Cole. Bertrand should be direct replacement. Even if Mou feel Bertrand is not up to par, he can play Azpi at left back. Even if he plays Iva at left back also I feel secure.

hhmmm...fair to say Mou is settle with Shurrle-Oscar-Hazard combo? iinm this combo has been used few times dy.

Well. In my opinion, Sturridge just needed time. If he could have been patient in Chelsea last time. Now he would have been one of out 3 main strikers. We might not even need to sign Eto.

But then, Sturridge has always had the desire to play as out-and-out striker. During that time, the managers kept playing Sturridge as winger. So leaving was his best option. With his age, it's normal for him to seek for regular football and playing in his best position. Can't blame him.

I think Sturridge plays the best as an out-and-out striker. Just look his time in Liverpool. He is someone that needs a striker partner. He links up well with Suarez. Just imagine if he had stayed with us and our striker partnership is Sturridge and Lukaku!!!

I thought that is Lukaku? Jersey Everton tu....hehe....

Everytime I see Lukaku scores, I tell myself 'Sabar...one day he will don the Chelsea jersey and bang in goals for fun!'

On another note, seems like Mou is pushing Roman to spend the cash to trigger Atletico Madrid's Brazillian hitman Diego Costa's release clause.

Prediction: Chelsea winning 3-2. Definitely a red card. And Torres to bag the winning goal and again proving he is up to par.

The AMF position is a bit hard to call. Mata sure will perform during big game, but Oscar is Mou's man. Ba I don't think so. Maybe bench player.

Wow...Demichelis' first game in the EPL. It's a good weak point no? Chelsea's attacker can show him how attacks are done in the EPL.

Judging by Man City's formation. They are a bit defensive minded eh. Only 1 striker in Aguero. Usually they play Negredo with Aguero....Seems like Man City playing possession game with the trio of Garcia, Toure and Fernandinho in the middle.

Just watched the highlight. Torres seems to be on fayahhh! If the far post shot was not denied by the bar, it could've been the contender for goal of the season!

After watching all the highlights, I feel that our striker is still not lethal enough. Torres needs few more run of goals and games. With a few goals under his belt, he will fire in all cylinders.

And it seems like Mou trust Cahill more compared to Luiz when it comes to the big games.

What cup is it eh? FA or carling cup? I think Wenger will keep his policy of just playing youth players in domestic cup competition.

I rmb ppl saying last season's epl is the most open one yet. But to me, this season's epl title race is the most open. Without SAF, it can be Mou's time, Wenger's time, AVB's time or Rodger's time.

To be honest, I think Ba needs the to start the Carling Cup more than Torres or Eto. He has yet to open his scoring for this season right? If i'm not mistaken.....

And let's hope Mata and KDB put on some seriously gooding performance to fight back into the starting 11.

Happy Deepavalli to my indian chelsea's supporters! Btw, u guys think Oscar or Mata will start the game against Newcastle? Mata played quite well in the Capitol One Cup, Oscar played quite well against Man City last week.

To be honest, I think MaZaCar combo is not working for us anymore. Oscar is already adapted to playing as AMF instead of RMF. Plus Oscar lacks speed. With MaZaCar combo, we can only rely on Hazard's speed to create openings. Mata and Oscar both too slowpoke imo.
With Mou's style, it is better to play 2 speedy winger. Hazard and Shurrle. Then for the AMF role, start with Oscar, then later on sub in Mata. This would be his best strategy imo.
