QUOTE(Gigabit @ Dec 2 2013, 04:18 PM) Why can't they spend a bit more on the dept rather than having us owners go SC to change seats...haizzz... same question as why they disable the DRL since the headlamp and system already build for that. and why change rim out side void suspension warranty but change R3 rim do not~~~~Unanswerable question~hahahahaha~ |

programmed ecu is like that.. there is good and bad thing for this.
Good thing : - if you just want to unlock the car to take stuff out, the mirror would stay put. Bad thing : - mirror would not unfold until u reverse and hit certain speed, then mirrors would unfold but can be easily unfold by pressing the button. |

I don't think the unfolded mirror is a big issue. Seriously, how can one not notice the mirrors are unfolded and how much energy does it take to press the unfold button?
About the warranty, it makes sense if you put yourself in Proton's shoes, or any manufacturer in general, you want your product to stay unaltered. If it's doctored in any unauthorised way, they can take their hands off the responsibility and claim it was the alteration that caused a problem. |

QUOTE(hong3831 @ Dec 2 2013, 12:09 PM) i did that, WD40 + grease. Solve a little bit. cannot totally make sound gone. i think thats maybe design and cut cost( maybe can wrap with some material to kill the sound?) , even go change a new seat, problem still there. just like fur problem. i did it twice. spray again until no sound, been 8 months now.so i give up~ haha |

Just got my preve. F the sa. Kept denying that he ever promised me full tank petrol. Visor say no stock have to wait.
Anyway, seriously feel that preve exec is underpowered. Viva 1.0 manual can accelerate much faster than my car. If only I have test driven the exec instead of cfe, I wouldn't buy exec variant at the first place. The car weight is really too heavy for the engine. And ts pls add me into the owner list. Preve exec white cvt owner here.. |

Same like buying smartphone, the first batch is always prone to defects |

Light cars like Viva don't need powerful engine to feel fast and swift. To feel the same on a heavy sedan, it's not likely. If you need that zippyness, even CFE couldn't give you that.Anyway, seriously feel that preve exec is underpowered. Viva 1.0 manual can accelerate much faster than my car. Just as comparison, my modified Persona with turbo, more HP than my Preve LE, could be overrun by stock Myvi easily at short routes Btw, don't you worry adding visor will cause wind noise? I'm glad that the Preve doesn't have one unlike my Persona. |
