Nvm. With the SS, sometimes when I drive the car at night, I forgot to turn on the lights. Happen a lot of times actually. Since the DRL already brighter than normal lights, but no brake lights, until I notice why other cars cannot see me from rear, then realise lights not on.

Wondering why even when I press full throttle , the Preve just won't rev or hold the gear higher than 4000rpm? It's like, stuck at 4000rpm or something. Annoying. Feels like maximum power isn't being utilized.

In my case, I open and close the rear seats like more than dozen times, and the nyek nyek sound is finally gone. You can give it a try though.

But now, there is rattling sound from the front left passenger door of my vehicle, and a whirring turbine sound from "dont-know-where" location of the vehicle. More sound popping up here and there for a less than 5 months vehicle.

I see. If minor rattling sound from doors or other places, doesn't matter too much if they don't make an effort to rectify it. Sooner or later more rattling sound will pop up here and there anyway due to wear and tear. Just the major ones that are annoying enough, then I suppose they should look at it more seriously.

The seats with "moving airbag", or seats with air pockets, this "defect" should definitely be resolved by Proton.

So the kruk-kruk sound comes from the lower bracket of the seat and not the airbag? Anyway I can feel the air pockets and airbag on the seat itself when I move, rub my back on the seat. So I guess it's two defects in that seat - 1) lower bracket making sound, and 2) Air pocket/airbag movement in driver's seat

Thanks for the photo and troubleshooting tips. Since I don't DIY myself, I will send the vehicle for the Proton guys to fix it in the next scheduled service. Since the vehicle is under warranty, I don't see the reason why owners should troubleshoot the problems themselves, especially spending money on lubricants such as "WD40"(not sure what is this). Though it is good some users managed to find out the problems and fix it themselves. The risk is sometimes while at it, more sound may pop up when opening/dismantling the parts, and the risk of breaking some clips etc. while in the process.

programmed ecu is like that.. there is good and bad thing for this.

Good thing :
- if you just want to unlock the car to take stuff out, the mirror would stay put.

Bad thing :
- mirror would not unfold until u reverse and hit certain speed, then mirrors would unfold but can be easily unfold by pressing the button.

i did that, WD40 + grease. Solve a little bit. cannot totally make sound gone. i think thats maybe design and cut cost( maybe can wrap with some material to kill the sound?) , even go change a new seat, problem still there. just like fur problem.
so i give up~ haha

An update. I just sent the car to COSE in the morning to rectify all defects, including the "kruk-kruk" sound from the driver's seat. It has been resolved. I asked the service guy what had been done to the seat, and he appeared clueless. He mentioned only the mechanic that fixed the problem knows about it in detail. Talk about efficiency. Anyway, it was mentioned in the invoice "tighten and check spring under cushion". The sound is now gone, most importantly.

Perhaps you are right in that the sound is not from the airbag.

i din see much ppl complain this too. the sound only appear when turn left at the beginning. now right also have. will contact COSE and see how to overcome it.

Hmm but if u can make it better with another RM570? promised to improve performance and comfort and reduced noise? Anyway no idea if it can really perform...but according to tonnes of reviewer..it sounds like a miracle..

haha i agree with you that the car's handling is superb...i never try 140KM/H cornering but i did try 90KM/H in almost 180 degree turn...feels solid and stable~~

When you got your own car, you start lurking in forums, looking more into technical details of a car, then you'll itch for turbo and regret why you didn't get it.
