EVP for hill hold assist and resolve some issue with Preve brake pedal become hard before starting up the engine.

VT3+ got mechanical changes in the gear geometry to reduce whining sound. Number of teeth, and different TCU calibration for more response. Dares have the replied from punch engineer.

Very important mechanical changes i reckon~~
more responsive and smoother gear change with reduced whining sound~~
thats y i decide to drop the idea for buying a Preve this year~~hmm~~
just hope it will be implemented on the all new 2014 preve~~

Nope i went to the showroom and see it for myself~~
the infotainment system on suprima is NOT on Preve LE~~
and yet the price tag is 79k

Although the headunit on Suprima S isn't very spectacular, but I hope at least it's on Preve LE.

I'm quite tempted to upgrade from my 1.5 year old Persona. laugh.gif

Yeah, but worried about the warranty when sending the car for service, for sure they will notify owners about it.

When going down hill we tend to press breake pedal and left acc pedal but the rpm shoot up and engine sound high (i think engine breaking sound). Is there any way to handle this?

Just like typical Toyota, to stop engine braking, press the gas pedal.

Went to EA Autoworks and enabled DRL. You need to take off the bumpers. Glad I paid Drex RM250 to do it.

ok so this is stupid. My CFE didnt want to engage the CVT

1) Stopped at red light. Since it was a long stop, I changed to N.
2) Flat road, so handbrake not pulled.
3) When the light turned green, changed to D
4) Car didn't move and the CVT error lit up on the panel
5) Had to restart the engine

Thank god the error didn't appear after that and the car was able to move. mad.gif

Earlier that morning, engine start took significantly longer than usual vmad.gif

So anybody had experienced it?

all these DRL mods.....are you sure we share 100% the same hardware as suprima s?

the stroboscope flashing ensures longer LED lifetime you know. Putting it under constant lighting will reduce it unless a proper calculation is made to regulate the voltage.

if they are 100% the same, then it is ok i think because for sure Proton or it's vendor had done the math.

Haven't got into a situation such as yours yet. May I ask how old is your vehicle?

Also, what do you mean when you mentioned "engine start took significantly longer than usual"? Do you mean after you have pressed the start button the engine takes longer than usual to crank start?
