That's why we don't call for player's/manager's head after a bad start to a season.

Just as in every day life, I believe football fans live by a code, more so Liverpool fans since "The Liverpool Way" became our ethos. The post below summarises how I feel about it really.

The Liverpool Way will mean something different to every Liverpool fan, but there are common values that define us as Liverpool supporters. It is those values that give our club and fans the identity we have today; and we should never lose sight of the characteristics that make our relationship with Liverpool Football Club so special.
The Liverpool way was really defined by Bill Shankly; who was the architect and pioneer of our transformation into one of the greatest clubs in world football. Shankly had a vision for Liverpool; he saw beyond the football club and wanted to use the City's characteristics to define the culture of the club. He wanted to give Liverpool a unique identity; and to lift the club and it's supporters to the best in world football.
So for those fans that maybe only began to follow the club in recent years, what is the Liverpool Way? What does make us so special? The simple way to define a Red is by wit, knowledge, patience, respect for your opponent and an unwavering support of your team. As supporters, we will not always agree with the decisions of the club or manager, but what makes us different is that we will always get behind them
There is a massive difference between supporting a player and deluding ourselves into thinking he is Pele reincarnated. In my opinion, we have an obligation as fans to adhere as much as possible to this code that was put in place by the Shanks. It was because of his vision after all that we are where we are today.
The author goes on to admit that as generations pass, we are beginning to lose touch with some of our values.

Over the last few years, it might be said that 'The Liverpool Way' has slowly started to diminish. With the ins and outs of new managers and owners. Ins and outs of world class players, and at one point the large possibility that we may go into administration. So it is understandable that we, the supporters, can't really be blamed for being cautious and not getting behind the club as we have in the past. Going after the former Americans with pitch forks and flames, and us being a large reason that Woy was sacked. Which is the first time that I can ever remember when we've ran a manager out of the club.
So my aim is to re-ignite the great Bill Shanklys vision. I want to bring Liverpool Its unique identity back, and to lift the club and its supporters back the best in world football.
My aim is the same, that is to remember who we are and for us to retain our identity. In the end though, the choice of doing so or not is up to the individual. For me, it is traditions and values like this that make me a firm supporter of the club and it is the main differentiator between us and everyone else.
