Had a stupid dream last nite..Beckham went to Swansea and supplied two goals for Shelvey in the dying minutes and Swansea won that game 2-1. I dont remember who the opponent team are. That useless dream..wasting my dream quota only.

Anyway..last nite, Gerrard scored, Dagger scored 2 penalties for Denmark and Suarez scored one pen for Uruguay.

Unfortunately our vice captain will not feature at the World Cup despite the mauling.

Since going back to Argentina, Maxi Rodriguez is playing quite well for his team and have been called up to play for Argentina again. Scored 3 goals in his last 3 internationals as well. Kinda miss his song esp that hatrick against Fulham.

Gerrard looked really happy after scoring last nite. The same kind of reaction you saw when he scored against Olympiakos...

I like Maxi. Truly a world class player. He may lack pace but his positioning sense is up there with the best, even better than the likes of downing, shelvey n Henderson.

One of rafa's best buy. Best used as a squad player.

Of course. His goal sealed the win and England's qualification. And for sure this will be his last World Cup too.

As usual, everything is Suarez's fault. Wins penalty also his fault... Referee gives also his fault...

No one says Argentina field weaker team but the headlines come out is that Suarez's controversial penalty decisive factor of match. What the hell?

2nd time we are in agreement! rclxm9.gif

Maxi is truly an intelligent player. Tricky and always seem to beat his opponent in finding the right place at the right time. Experience really speaks volume in this type of player.

If I were BR I would give allen three games in his favoured position. If he doesn't perform he should be sold in january. We have no time for players to adapt if we are serious about top 4.

allen's fav position would mean playing coutinho out of position...and moses / hendo / lucas on the bench.

I think allen fav position is gerrards position minus the defensive responsibilities.I would bring him on the 60 minute mark to replace gerrard. We get to rest gerrard and give allen a chance at the same time.

I think for Joe Allen's sake, he better adapt to many different positions especially Lucas's and Gerrard's.

This season is where heavy criticism will come haunting him if he cant live it up his 15mil tag.

When he first came, he was a calm player, always managed to get the danger out for us even though under pressure from a few opponents. Things have changed since.
