I dont know why there is a big argument regarding allen two or three games is probably all we need to see if he has a future here.
Anyway, our focus should be on newcastle. Our bad form started after the international break last time.I hope it doesn't repeat this time around.

QUOTE(led_zep_freak @ Oct 17 2013, 08:50 AM) Ah forget it, we're not worthy of his courtesy. Agree with you on his qualities. I remember when he first came in, he was shoulders above the rest. That's not saying a lot considering how crap the rest of the squad was doing but you knew he had the qualities - made the right decisions, kept the ball flowing and the moves tidy and always presenting himself as an option. But he needs to regain that form and confidence and also perform consistently in the team. To do that he needs game time. But I have a question, what's his favourite position? He used to play in Gerrard's current role in Swansea but I don't see Rodgers dropping Gerrard at all. If he should be played further upfront where he could cause the most damage, we have Coutinho and Alberto - 2 natural footballers no less - above the pecking order. It's going to be a tough mountain to climb. maybe BR will bring out Coutinho and move Gerard forward. Allen will replace at Gerard position. this is after 70th minute. coutinho stamina not at peak and easy to get injured.

It's going to be a tough mountain to climb. I reckon a ball winning midfielder that operates higher than the conventional anchor midfielder like Lucas. I really do feel he is one of the better midfielder to play the pressing game and still have the passing and dribbling ability to dominate the ball. Is it a mere coincidence that we stopped playing possession football without Allen in the team ? Gerrard may seem irreplaceable but once the other midfielders start putting on some good performance, i reckon he would have little choice but to make some changes. Having said that, Gerrard has played 2 great games for England so perhaps his form is returning. That goal against Poland shows he still got it when given the license to attack.

BR knows his player well. and gerard knows it too that he is going to face great challenge from bench.

Oh man. I know I have a habit of stopping fights here but somehow the debacle between Led and c28 is so exciting I don't want it to stop. Pop corn boys!! It's show time!

Here are the odds: 10/3 - c28 5/6 - led.
sorry. adjusted the odds. terbalik just now. While Led has thought provoking points and certainly interesting in his debate, c28 has abit of advantage over here. He has a deadly strategy and that is persistence. LOL.

You're just adding oil and kerosine into a raging fire, bro I'd rather not see heated arguments amongst fans just because of a difference of opinion.

I like intelligent arguments though. It's entertaining. For example, Paula Abdul vs Ryan Seacrest Paula answered reporters about Ryan Seacrest's apparent interest in Teri Hatcher at one point. "That guy must be knocking his face against the mirror each time he sees it. And do you think Teri Hatcher is really that desperate of a housewife?" LOL.

Managed to get a couple of tickets for the Newcastle game. I've not been to St. James' Park before, but I can imagine going there for matches fairly often in the future as it's not too far from where I study (Durham). From what I've heard, the atmosphere is electric! I'd imagine Rodgers is going to have a tough time relegating Gerrard to the bench after scoring that goal against Poland! Though, it might be a good move in the long-term.

Good place to have decent Chinese food before the match. Enjoy!

Cardiff veteran Bellamy questions Wales capping Liverpool teen Wilson Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Thu, 10/17/2013 - 07:04 Share on email Share on print
Cardiff City veteran Craig Bellamy is critical of Wales capping 16 year-old Liverpool winger Harry Wilson.
Manager Chris Coleman confirmed that Wales had been made aware that Wilson, who was born in Wrexham, could have qualified for Roy Hodgson’s team via his grandmother, who was born in Chester.
"I’m not sure about it," the 34-year-old, who is the third most highly capped player in his country’s history, said. "I really don’t know.
"I think Harry’s a talent. I think he’s going to do well in the years to come. But I’d like to see him do well first (before being capped).
"I don’t mean that in a bad way, but 16 years old is young, it’s really young.
"He can’t play for anyone else now but is that really the most important thing? I’ve known him for some time and I’ve seen his progress. He’s great.
"I’ve taken an interest in it because he’s the same age as my boy. So it’s one of those. I’d like to see the lad given a chance.
"I’m just not sure about it at the age of 16. There’s plenty more time to address the situation."

At one point, Teri Hatcher wrapped in Superman's cape was the most downloaded image on the internet and I can understand why. Have always thought she was hot since she had a reoccurring role on MacGyver. Young uns will have no idea who that is of course. Arguments can be healthy but in my opinion, hoping that a Liverpool player screws up to prove a point is ludicrous. Have always preferred to debate face-to-face than over the internet. The tone of the conversation changes if you know or have met the person. This post has been edited by Duke Red: Oct 18 2013, 10:17 AM

If this happened in Malaysia, I doubt anyone would think anything of it. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverp...t-faith-6201743? Sadly, it is pretty common for flers here to sell complimentary merchandise or tickets for personal profit. Still, I hope an investigation is carried out and the guilty culprits are weeded out.
