Glad that we grabbed 3 points from Sunderland, it was one of the matches we could easily dropped 2 points and if I'm honest we could have lost the match if it weren't for some brilliant but jittery goalkeeping by Mignolet. Having Suarez back really make the difference. He may not as fast and sharp compared to his prime, but he is still head above heels over the rest of boys and very clinical in his finishing. Sturridge is my MOTM for doing the bulk of the work, one of the very few Brits I'd love to have in the team.

Now to Midfield. God dem, that was awful. I told my mate at halftime, our midfield was so shyte that the black cats are so eager to bury us like real cats burying turd in the sand. Coming from a man who boast about playing tiki taka football, I'm clearly not impressed at all. On the other hand, we were getting tiki taka'ed by a managerless, bottom of the table team.

Is our midfield creativity hinge entirely on one player, that is Coutinho? Someone argued that our midfield will not collapse because there are still Gerrard, Lucas and Henderson and they are NOT useless. Well, they are pretty close to 'useless' yesterday, aren't they? Playing 2 DMs yet again on the field should translate to more posession but that is not showing on the stats.  If Lucas can't do the job, get someone in who will FFS.

Defenders totally lost hope in our midfield that they just lofted the ball to the front two, the whole strategy evolved from pass and move to long balls as the match progress. BR lovers call this "counter attack" not knowing the fact that we were being pressed and closed down so much we cant even make a pass.

Hendo can't play right wing so why put him there? Put him as the CM behind the strikers and move Gerrard to the right. Not our captain's favored position but an aging Gerrard can do better than a clueless Henderson, even without the pace.

Get your act together BR, yesterday your ass were saved by the strikers, now go back and work on your midfield.

Ok next time I'll just mention who is in my shit list which consist of the midfielders then
