IMO today Gerrard performance wasn't up to his standards. He made mistakes and lost possession but was far from our worse player on the field. I think he is playing out of position and this type of play doesn't suit him. I don't understand why Rodgers is playing him so deep. He is more effective in attack.

I agree. If anyone is to blame its clearly BR. Obviously, it was a tactic and formation issue. Soton owned us all over the pitch fair and square.

well, to be on loan is a good thing for him to mature, though chances are suso will move on. never once as far as i can remember any player loaned returns to play as regular in Lfc.

I know there are exceptions to the rule though i don't see it happening.

suso has talent but is kinda small size for premiership, it all depends on the players around him to see if it works. I doubt we will build a team around/support his talent. which is why i'll say suso is almost good as gone

Problem is BR took this game too seriously.Should have rested main players.I think most of us anticipated loss.

Actually I felt gerrard lucas were good for the first three games.However after woy england games gerrard looks exhausted.Today was the right opportunity to rest him but I feel BR screwed up.

We can only hope it wont haunt us against sunderland because like someone said earlier we dont have better midfielders.

We want mata and costa in january!

so i would assume BR will play alberto along with hendo and gerrard in the midfield.

I reckon Henderson & Stevie will partner in the middle. While Sterling will operates on the right flank. The rest will remains.
