The school holiday was changed starting this year.. so, definitely this year's holiday is different from previous year. However, the past 5 years history has shown that school holiday always fall in the same week..

1 i remember fall on june..not 1 day is in may
but i kinda average it...look at next year's calendar
and looked maybe 24th may...its a saturday afterall
thn saw the price....total is more expensive than before and after that period...so i bought

Every few months or infact every month/ 2 months once sure AA comes with promo.. Only the travle period differed.. Now Sep
They offer trave period from Jan - Aug

If there is anothe rone nxt mth (Most probably) it will be Feb -Sept
and Nov- most probably another big sales - for Mar- Oct
& so on

it all depends on the travel period
promo surely got but depends on what travel period u want

actually this promo sells the leftover of the last promo(which is the real promo)

Heys all. This is on AirAsia's homepage now... The 200mil promotion. However, looking at the attractive price, but where is there "book now" button ?!?! i can't seem to book it with that price that offer from the promotion list.

compare last promo and current promo for hk ... this time if manage to book early average cheaper RM50 per pax ...

last time I try to call forever no one pick yet they still charged me about RM30 gone

The rates varies & once the limited tickets sold for that date, the price will be reverted to higher or regular price....Very limited indeed and getting lesser right now.. Infact by minnutes.. This Morning I suppose to book HK ticket on my chosen date at the 2nd lowest price and I was still considering due to unconfirmed school holiday. now at ths moment - No more already. All sold!

No point calling them. They are having very minimal telemarketers and you need to pay RM1.90/min for that special line (Last time-lah)

Has anyone tried AA's Fly Thru? Is Fly Thru only available in KUL-LCCT?

i think, they won't give lowest fare during school holiday.. it may still be cheap, but the lowest is always during normal school days..

I wanted to make a booking when i realise that they are charing RM32 per person per way if I pay by credit card. I dont really recall this the last time I make a booking. Can anyone clarify this?

p/s : debit card / direct debit is RM4 per transaction.

Isn't it RM8 per way per pax for credit card?

I booked AAX ticket, return trip, paid using credit card and I was charged RM32 for using credit card..

The fee is the same for AA and AAX according to their fee schedule which is RM8 per way per pax

when I clicked to the final page, they say RM 32 "This fee is chargable per guest for each way when payment is made online thru credit card, debit card or charge card only."

Any way around this?

if it's RM36 per CC transaction, i dont mind, but if its per pax per way, it makes no sense!

If I do my web check-in, it will randomly choose seats for me right? Let's say if I am sitting at A330 flight, for the capacity of 337 people but it will not be full. Can I go and choose my seat randomly?

During in the middle of the flight, you're free to change your seat to any empty seat..

Do I need to notify the cabin crew if I want to change?

You may only for the same priced seats. If you try sitting at those red- ht seats.. surely kena halau I hv seen few cases of cabin crews asking passengers to go back to the ori seats and there was once the Ang Moh got into arguement wth the cabin crews

No need provided you don't goto the hot seats . On most of my AA & AAX experiences, I have been switching seats with many single passengers in order to be in one family. All the time no problem esp if you offer them you window seat

Their promotions was less known to people.

Unlike AA FREE million seats.

Only if you have pre-booked meal so that they can locate you to distribute the meal.

seriously, i find this promo not very cheap. maybe for certain area.

hanoi before promo rm 900+
now rm 600+ only few dates available. (both lowest price)

then rm 800+, 1lowest+1 2nd lowest.

*above price mentioned was for 2pax..

currently hesitate to book or not to book to travel on march/april.

wondering would there be another promo...

Thougt wanna go with 4 frens... Hmmm.. Quite expensive..

this AA thingy promo is not as cheap as it used to be
initially i checked AA for hanoi ..rm42x
then i compared to vietnam airlines..rm450
wth, might as well go for vietnam airlines, full fledge, sync with public holiday etc..no brainer

however, i hesitated in booking and the price went up to 74x

today i checked again, it's rm546. ..wondering if it would go down further..

I'm confused, what does AA's 1 million free seats refer to?

I tried searching all the flights and none of them are free.

Means the seat fare is 0. But u still need to pay airport tax & fuel surcharge for the minimum. Luggage & food are add-on.

FOr eg:

KL -BKK Free seat promo:

Airfare- RM0
Fuel surcharge - RM22
Admin & Airport tax - RM62

So cheapest all-in fare to BKK = RM84- 1 way

website will ask when you do online check-in. also you need to do document check at the airport, so they inspect your passport again.

i don't plan to do online check in cause the queue at counter check in is always lesser than those who already check in

it is AUD. so it will be around RM1.2k. Not the cheapest that I had before. 40kg alone already $50

I managed to get return ticket for about $400-450 on last CNY . My friends also got about the same price for next year CNY.

You can't find any zero fare there-lah.. The lowest fare already include the fuel surcharge that I mentioned earlier.. That was KL -BKK (Bangkok)

Hey, I want to ask, Im going krabi on 11oct. I booked my tickets using expedia.com.my and this is my first time using it and my first time taking AA.
When I purchased the tickets, I didnt put all my details; etc passports details and info, so can I still change the details of my tickets? And how and when to check-in to the flight eh?

During booking, only the name is important.. it must be the same as in the passport.. Other details will be filled when you do web check in.

Hey guys anyone here happen to know will airasia have any year end sale soon? Bcs I plan to go to Adelaide in Jan ticket price with return comes up to over 2k. Should I wait or buy now???

If year end sale happen, I don't think the price for January period will be lower. Just personal opinion.

If you do not want to take the risk and want to have a confirmed ticket now, you can book the ticket with MAS instead. Just RM1,759 all-inclusive.

Is it a good deal? Usually offer price to Australia the cheapest is around how much? Sry noob question, I usually never travel.

During the MATTA sale it was RM1,699 all-inclusive. So the current offer is very good too as it is just RM60 more expensive.

Promo price all-in fare b4 luggages, insurance & food via AAX to Australia normally ranging from RM700-RM1000 return. None promo, sometime, MAS might be cheaper. My upcoming Sydney return ticket per pax only ~RM800/pax but I bought it early this year

Air Asia not that cheap anymore. Don't have to wait for offers. Just plan when you want to go, and compare the prices with MAS.
