Anyone has sat in the last row of seats on Airasia X flights before? How's the experience?

I've just web checked in for my flight to Melbourne next week and got allocated to seat 51K, which is the last row window seat. Thinking if I should pay extra RM35 to get another seat or not.

forget about it

the last row are the worst

if it is night flight even more horror

Near the loos and plus ppl walking in and out

If you are good sleeper then it is alright otherwise go be a long long flight.

You get to the food first though

Not necessary but depends on the flight stewardess. But i always get mine 1st as you must know how to talk to them properly ahem tongue.gif

Another minus is the seat it is not be able to recline. The last few rows would be 46-48 A & C if you prefer the back but all depends on the day whether a lot of families around as some babies can be annoyinh crying all night long.

That time you would need sleeping pills plus a good set of earplugs smile.gif

Thanks for the opinions guys!

I don't really mind about the food. Since it's a night flight and I'll be traveling alone, I would most probably "try" to sleep thru the flight. Decided to change to a window seat in the quiet zone. laugh.gif
What do you mean FOC?

Beware of the quiet zone. Ain't no quiet at times as most flights do not enforce the rules depending on the flight services manager for the flight whether are they strict or not as i have experience babies in the quiet zone as well doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

anyone recently trying to check in thru phone app but seat cannot be assign? encounter this error while on the way to lcc for domestic flight and failed to check in all the way. tried to login thru website with ipad  also failed . reached in lcc and check in at counter 50 min before departure time but the staff rejected me, said that the counter close 10 min ago. not rational at all as I dont need any baggage drop and required a boarding pass only at 50 min before departure, the staff didnt offer/assist me anything and told me that she cannot do anything.... really speechless...

I'd filed in a complaint at website e-form for compensation , anyone experienced before ?

Simple rules that you didn't follow which will throw your case out

You have to check in 1 hour before the flight departure as the rules are set by International Air Travel Association (IATA)

So there no hell of chance for you to win and blame it your ignorance and bad luck for it doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif
