Didnt see anyone recommend Acer Aspire v5-437PG, can I know why? Thinking to buy that particular laptop. Is there any other better option guys for below 2.5k? Planning to put 128GB ssd.
*
did you mean these?

Acer
V5-471PG, i5-3337U + Nvidia GT710M + (1366x768; touch)@RM2299, 4GB, 500GB, W8
V5-473PG-54204G50, i5-4200U + Nvidia GT740M +(1366x768;touch)@RM2299, 4GB, 500GB,W8 *no OD

dont see the use of touch screen monitors, so basically less recommended for users except if some peoples do need it.

Gaming requires a powerful GPU, not CPU laugh.gif
Can consider this:
15.6"
MSI
GE60K, i5-3230M + Nvidia GTX660M + (1920x1080; anti-glare)@RM2899, 4GB, 750GB(7200rpm), W8, 2 years warranty

Otherwise can top up a bit for a Lenovo Y510p or MSI GE60-2OC

Both the Gt750M and GTX660M are way, way better than the GT740M nod.gif
Like I said, the GPU is more important for gaming performance. If you want a GT740M, RM2k can get you one already brows.gif

1. Preferred Brand: Most preferably brands with good customer service
2. Budget : below RM 2500
3. Usage: Engineering drawing + simulation (40% of the time) , gaming, (60% of the time)(eg: skyrim, GTA5, NFS, crysis 3), must be able to support smooth web browsing with multiple tabs (20-30 tabs) at the same time.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 14'-15'
5. prefer 2,3 years warranty, but RM 2500 budget is still the priority even if it means only 1 year warranty

Is i7 core more suitable in this case? (heavy multitasking)

Is Toshiba M840-1009X a good choice in this case?

Thanks in advance ! smile.gif

Someone will recommend you imported set of HP and Lenovo for that price. Best to avoid it if warranty is one of the main priorities.
The HD7670m can support the games you mentioned but it won't run smooth on high or ultra setting.
Ps pink color is nice.

Thanks for the reply..

Can i have more suggestions everyone? biggrin.gif

For my case, should I opt for a better gpu or better processor? (i7 instead of i5)

Since you need good warranty, mostly will be dell.
