If you opt for the MSI, use remaining budget to get a 256GB SSD (~RM650) to replace the HDD (can be used as external HDD )

most 10 / 11" come with touchscreen now, especially those Haswell sepc, since Intel definition for Haswell ultrabook now is that it must have touchscreen

right now, iinm, there is no models that tick all your box Wait a bit longer if you can, say till Nov / Dec this year and hopefully more Haswelll spec machine will get launch in Malaysia.

Unfortuntely until now no news abou its official launch.

anyway i found a new option, which is the new illegear custom laptop which is a clevo w740su.
1.9kg with fhd ips 14" screen, it has an iris pro 5200. should be enough for my usage, as long as the price isnt too high..

Hp envy 17? Rm 2999 only.
Or hp envy 15 touchsmart rm2899..

These 3 are usually the ones that top in terms of performance for a RM4k budget

*The illegear may be the cheapest among the bunch, but after you opt for a genuine copy of Windows, it'll be more or less the same.
*Performance-wise, the GT750M SLI tops in gaming, especially when the games are optimized for it

Lenovo (on-site warranty) and Illegear should provide the best in terms of warranty support, but provided you are covered. Might want to consider topping up a bit for the warranty, especially when its a notebook with high-end components which are expensive to replace

That G400s is a pretty good choice. The i5 M is good for your usage, probably can get a better GPU though (good for any 3D CAD, certain photo / video editing algorithm, and gaming).
