QUOTE(xproc @ Dec 3 2013, 04:51 PM) using too many years of windows (in fact still need to use it for work, and its ok), i just not quite clear what your meaning... err, i dont get you either and none of it is relevant to what im saying. my 1st post before this was trying to say that you missed out the Mac Pro, 2nd post was to restate that you missed out the Mac Pro again and im an anti-Apple person.Even Google wants their employees using Macs (just 43,000 units, link), not Windows or its own Chromebooks... I dont see any issue want to anti this or anti that.... |

QUOTE(danieltan @ Dec 4 2013, 09:07 AM) Hi all, Intel HD IGPU can handle all the movie / video watching for your dad.I wanted looking for a new laptop for my dad 1. Any brand (as long the warranty easily cover) 2. Cost < RM1.4K 3. Purpose: see movie/video(without lag), surf Internet 4. Screen size: 14"-15.6" any recommend? all dear sifu He can make do with Intel Celeron CPU. If he open lots of tab when surfing, make sure the laptop has min 4GB RAM (8GB is ideal). 4GB RAM stick ~ RM100. The lag, if any, that he is going to feel may come from the slow HDD, which you may upgrade to SSD when you have more budget. (SSD 256G ~ RM600). Dell Inspiron 14, Pentium 2127U + Intel HD @RM1099[1.99kg], Linux, 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), 6-cell; W8.1SL @RM1299 Price is RSP, negotiable. Extend warranty from 1 years on site to 3 years on site for RM250. Should be within your budget. |
