I did a benchmark on the first day i bought the phone...

if red colour not purple tint issue than it confirm my assumption it is hardware problem

i purposely run those benchmark continuously until it really heat up my phone, i want to test the theory from internet heat will burn/affect the camera

and me just trying the benchmark to show off. Didn't know about the tint issue until i check it in ly forum.

I think the software update will auto tweak the ISO to lowest in Auto mode to reduce the purple effect

But this doesn't cure the defect of the phone ... i think there is a defect in the structure of phone .. the improper heat conduction damaged the sensor when the phone is running too hot . i don't think this problem is associated with the software because i noticed that before the update , when i take the night shot , i started to notice the grid formation in the picture and this grid became more and more prominent with the purple tint ..

I heard feedback from Taiwan forum, claimed that after update to 4.3, purple tint issue still persist. Sigh..... really disappointed, can we get refund for this.

Refund can but not in Malaysia

got message from the shop i bought and said phone is ready for collect, sent on 6/9.

check on spot, camera okay, no purple tint, no red spot

came back home, open camera again, red spot(sent to repair because of red spot)

now go the shop and ask for refund, if they dont, file to consumer association

PS:bought this phone on 26/8, use few days then sent repair ad

good luck with the refund It's a stupid system. Maybe we all should plan a meeting and go to Kelana Jaya service center and do a major complain to their high manager.

Finally ... solve my purple tint issue ....












by selling it and grab Note 3 ... but speaker from GN3 no where near boomsound ... i missed my boomsound

finally got my phone back , no purple tint so far ... they changed the camera and the battery cover .. i think something wrong with the battery cover and also the design ... these makes the heat was improperly dispersed and damage the sensor

u better double check again tonite in a dark room.. mine from purple become blue tint.. lolz

FINALLY I got my phone back, all is ok except a very very small minor hairline gap which i dont mind at the side bottom...i think they got my feedback and when i got the phone, the buttons and camera lens are cover with sticker....

I stress tested the camera module, now is ok...but when a bit hot on the phone, i can see some red dots in rare occasion which is normal....but most of the time, is dark which is what I want

Now the customer service inform the users that the camera parts are depleted in service center and if u will to wait, you can sent in now...they also advice wait for software update...

I was too bored at service center, if any bro see me talking to u about software update, sorry.....just a friendly comment..

Wow. This purple tint issue is sure pain one. My phone just a few weeks old already got this issue and after reading some review that 4.3 doesn't help, might looking for other options. Nexus 5 maybe?

try first....we wont know until we tried update on the latest fix
