Wondering how will HTC solve purple tint issue via software update.
As not all of the devices having this problem, I still believe it is caused by hardware, let's wait n see. brows.gif

There is no more service center in Penang, but there is one HTC counter in Prangin Mall, they will just help you to ship phone to the service center to KL.

I heard feedback from Taiwan forum, claimed that after update to 4.3, purple tint issue still persist. Sigh..... really disappointed, can we get refund for this. cry.gif

I cant redeem the $25, I already tried all the steps given, connect to USVPN and so on, it just wont let me key in the redeem code, it will automatically jump to error saying "Gift Cards are not available in your location".

Can anyone advise? sad.gif

1. The HTC One camera issue is a hardware problem.
2. Right now, HTC has a new part number for the camera, which will be used to replace the faulty cameras.
3. It is a KNOWN ISSUE, HTC acknowledges the problem.
4. Get yours replaced if you have problem, because HTC themselves says it is a hardware problem.
5. Stop listening to rumors and other people saying 4.3 will fix it, its a software problem, iso setting problem, etc.
EDIT: cineSensor date won't tell you the part number. The 'new camera' they are using is still the same Ultrapixel unit, just improved to address the problem.

I don't mind to fix if it is hardware issue, I just worried that it will cause another new issue after repaired.
And I don't want resend it back to SIS, and 2 weeks is quite long for me. sad.gif
